Worried about game performance since LoR

Hello Devs,
Im kind of worried about STOs performance these days, starting with LoR, and now with the new Season 8 coming closer.
There is constantly new stuff being added to the game, yet there is nothing being done about this game's performance or any optimization being done to keep this game fresh and smooth for us players.
Frame rates are starting to drop beyond playable sometimes, i recently upgraded to a new high end grqphics card yet the game seems not to fully utilize it so somehow.
When will we see some massive improvement to the game? thanks
