Launcher bug or intentional

I'm trying to patch up Tribble, and I usually watch the Transfer window to keep track of it's status. Right now Path name Blocks columns are showing as what looks likes a random binary data caused by a bad pointers. Same information in each for for both columns (different string data for each to). And % column (percentage complete?) is showing nothing.

Is that a bug or intentional. If intentional, why not just disable the Transfers window functionality altogether?

It started appearing like that after the last time they updated the launcher; and yes, I think it's probably intentional as you could gleen info on stuff being added by looking at the file and path names that it used to show.

And yes, if that's indeed the case I agree with the OP - just disable player ability to bring the thing up and be done with it.
