Hello Server down... (No, it's up, there is a launcher display bug)

    Do you mean the login server? Because the game is still running.

    I've been disconnected 5 times today when switching maps. I've been able to log in fine every time, but map switching seems to be the issue for me.

    Yes, the server status is RED...still getting the update, but its not going to do me a lot of good if I can't get ingame. ;)

    Someone might have forgotten to change the status light. If the Server was down there would be 20 threads about it by now.
    STO is about my Liberated Borg Federation Captain with his Breen 1st Officer, Jem'Hadar Tactical Officer, Liberated Borg Engineering Officer, Android Ops Officer, Photonic Science Officer, Gorn Science Officer, and Reman Medical Officer jumping into their Jem'Hadar Carrier and flying off to do missions for the new Romulan Empire. But for some players allowing a T5 Connie to be used breaks the canon in the game.

    The servers status indicator is currently screwed up across all Cryptic MMOs on the launcher. If the 'ENGAGE' button pops up after patching (or patch checking); click it, and you should be good (and get on.)

    The game is up, but there is a bug with the launcher that it shows the server status as red/down. The website is showing the correct status. We're investigating.

    I'm starting the game client manually. It's timing out trying to log into the account server.

    Try restarting your router and/ or computer. Was just able to get in on an internal and external line.

    Staying connected is my problem. I can start the launcher, but while I'm in game I get tons of lag and eventually just disconnected. It started yesterday when I had already been on for an hour or two with no problems. Now I can't seem to stay on to save my life. All this while the server status shows green.

    Huh. I flush my DNS server and window cache, restarted the launcher and I was able to get in.

    Talking about server issues, just remember that when season 7 came out there were issues with the server for days with people not being able to log in. Season 8 can have the same problems. I might sit back and watch for a few days to make sure.
