My Federation main is human because of the leadership trait. The other is a Cardassian (Alien made to be a cardassian thanks to a guide I found) that I made when I was a noob. Had I known then what I did now he would be another human. While I would like to be other races, the leadership trait is just too useful.
I have a Romulan main for the Operative trait (with 3 romulan and 1 reman boff) and one Reman with 4 romulan boffs.
Since traits don't really matter for the KDF, I made an Orion male and a Klingon Male. I might make a nausicaan or gorn in the future because they can be made to look so darn cool: a giant lizard and the nausicaan blade armor uniform options. I haven't made either yet because I can't see redoing the reputation grinds again.
What I would really like the Devs to do is make the leadership trait either universal for all federation races or sellable like the Wing Commander Trait. I would also like them to do the same thing with the Operative trait for all romulan republic toons. As for the KDF, they really need to give them new useful traits like the Federation and Romulan Republic have...maybe something that gives them a +10 to Starship Energy Weapons and Starship Projectile Weapons.

Let's see. I only got three toons so far: a Federation Tac human, a KDF Scientist Gorn and a Romulan Engineer alien (whom, for kicks, made to look the best I could to be like Doomsday. Yes, I know, nerd.)
My Fed Tac is an Alien (though I would Love for it to be a caitian), my fed sci and fed eng are Caitians. I have an Orion KDF (Sci) and a Ferasan (eng) KDF, and 2 Romulans (KDF Sci and Fed Eng)
If we ever get Species change tokens i would change my alien tac to a caitian, NOT restart as i have put well over 1500 hours into him.

I would have all custom Aliens, if I had known in the beginning that it can produce all the other races combined and more...alas I did make a Human and a Klingon before learning about that.

Same, made a Vulcan to take up my Fed slot before I realized how the Alien generator works... I ended up making a Romulan as my RR character because I didn't really want to make an alien for that, but I have an alien KDF character.
