When fighting in space, the smart cap'n stays in one spot and waits to fire as they come into view.

    Consoles are pretty much useless, might as well leave those slots empty to save weight. Makes the ship fly faster.

    * Tier One ships with Mark I weapons are the best for STF's.
    * Injuries on your ship and character don't really mean anything. Don't worry about them.
    * Your ship will still move without impulse engines.

    If you must use consoles, use everything you can to protect your crew. It's the only thing that matters.

    When in a team of five, do nothing. This will result in them having to play the game more to compensate and they will love you for it.

    1) Don't worry about fixing minor, major or critical ship damage. It has been known to not reduce the effectiveness of your ship, and in fact boosts all your passive stats.

    2) Tractor beam repulsors are a very welcome addition to any team effort. Both fully buffed escorts and slow to turn/move cruisers will love you for pushing their targets out of range.

    The correct use of capital letters is essential, it could mean the difference between:

    You should de-equip your warp core from your ship, because you'll be immortal. No warp core to blow up, no destruction of your ship.

    Ship and personal injuries are battle scars to be collected and worn with honor and pride.

      When participating in a group dungeon, do not merely remain silent. You must scream instructions through the chat box and insult everyones mother in the process. Both new, and old players alike will appreciate that you think yourself as Gods gift to gaming, and will be sure to respect you and play better for it.

      You red shirts will cover more territory looking for that rock-tunneler if you each take a separate tunnel. Set your phasers on stun.

      We have to take the high ground, of course its a mile of open terrain; but you do have Mk II common shields.

      Don't eat unhealthy consumable food too much. If you do, your character will gain weight and gradually get slower and won't be able to jump as high; however, sprinting can help negate or reverse that over time.

      It is best to not have all your tactical consoles be energy damage boosting, the diminishing returns is too great if you do. Run only one and put other consoles there instead.

      Your teammates will love you for your incredibly low dps.

      The only ship you need is a shuttle. Everything else is overrated.

      Whether episode missions or elite STFs, a shuttle will be fine.

      Using only Universal consoles and mines/torpedoes is worthwhile and you will be praised for a successful build type.
      Inertia just means you can do Powerslides in you carrier!

      As a fleet leader, be sure you keep Fleet resources tight.. You should NEVER EVER give your fleet access to what they've helped build, both Fleet Holdings and Bank...
      Not even if they ask nicely.
      Don't look silly... Don't call it the "Z-Store/Zen Store"...

      blowing all the generators on ISE at different times (ie. early) and losing the opt...and probably spending the next hour trying to clean up

      Everyone in PUGs love a spawn point Camper. So just sit back, relax, and let everyone else do the work. Be sure to click need on all lootdrops.

      if anyone gives you any lip on chat, let them know about your gamming awesomness, how priviliged they are to bask in your glory, and how unworthy they are of any effort on your part.

      You can name your ship enterprise and your toon can be named James Kirk. No one else has thought of it.

      When in Khitomer Space Elite fly to each generator and pop out the tactical cube for each one. Then fly to the middle of the map and cloak. Your fellow teammates will laud the way you have saved them the trouble and time of doing it themselves.

      For an encore use tractor beam repulsors to speed the probes towards the vortex. This will show your compassionate side to the rest of the team and instantly make you irresistible to all women and tribbles.
