Avenger class aesthetic opinions?

Personally, after seeing the screenshots in the latest Dev blog, I think the new Avenger class is an absolutely hideous monstrosity of a design. I would be curious to know if my opinion is that of the minority or the majority, so what does everybody think? Badass starship with awesome looks; or bad starship with awful…
