Technically, what we saw in "Relics" wasn't a Dyson Sphere anyway - it was a Dyson Shell. Don't ask me the difference, it doesn't make much sense to me; as near as I can figure out 'Sphere' actually means 'Lots of little constructs around the outside of a star system' while 'Shell' means 'solid construct enclosing a star system'.
Besides, who even says that the Jenolan Sphere and the Delta Sphere were build by the same race? It's entirely possible for two groups thousands of light-years apart to reach similar conclusions, after all...
It makes sense by the original proposal.... the sphere as Freeman Dyson postulated, was an array of small satellites completely encompassing the star to collect almost all of its radiant energy..... where the dyson's shell is a complete structure which encases the star.
The only thing that could possibly make this Dyson sphere suck is if we find out Neelix has set up an all-you-can eat diner there.
If Neelix is in the Sphere, then i recommend a full bombardment of the sun with Trilithium weapons, and cover the whole inner sphere with Thalaron radiation.

Eh, Neelix, while being completely irritating, wasn't nearly that bad. Save your plans of genocide for Jar Jar.

"Participation in PVP-related activities is so low on an hourly, daily, weekly, and monthly basis that we could in fact just completely take it out of STO and it would not impact the overall number of people [who] log in to the game and play in any significant way." -Gozer, Cryptic PvP Dev
I just think the concept art makes it look like someone poured a Salvador Dali painting over a Romulan city. Bleah.
As the discussion we've had before on this, a lot of elements in concept art is exaggerated for effect. While some of it is cleaned up for public release, it's not made with that in mind.
Here's some actual screenshots, much different than the concept art.
Oh, man, if Neelix and the Talaxians have moved into the Delta Sphere... We'll find the ultimate weapon against Klingons, Romulans, Jem'hadar, Cardassians, Tholians and whoever else...
Leola Root.
...Actually, if they're bringing in the Delta Quad, they might add Leola Root as a food item... and if a Tribble eats it; Delta Quadrant Tribble...

Please reconsider ARC. Please make it optional, at the least. PLEASE.
It seems the vast majority of your most active players (forum regulars) hate the idea... and while that's a small subset of the playerbase, I think it's an important constituency.
THE PLAYERS DO NOT WANT THIS.

And you got on me for letting people know about the "Journey To The Center of The Earth" thing; now you've gone and told everyone that about the "Admiral, I've Shrunk Starfleet" concept...

While I like it when they add old places from canon into the game, at the same time I want new places to see and explore and stake a claim for the republic! I want my own adventures, not just to follow in some starfleet retiree's footprints.
I would have been upset if it was the Dyson Sphere from Relics. It makes no sense to have the Voth come all the way to the Alpha Quadrant without us knowing it and have them set up shop in a dying Dyson Sphere. A viable Dyson Sphere in the Delta Quadrant makes more sense if we have to deal with the Voth.
You mean the piece of junk a very important starship commander blew up?;)
I knew it was a mistake having Admiral Janeway teach at Starfleet Academy.
"What do you do if you discover an alien device capable of inter-quadrant travel?"
"Uhhhhh secure it until you can get reinforcements from Starfleet?"
"No! You plaster it with tri-cobalt explosives, another answer like that and you're getting a dose of the old teaching phaser."
My Romulan Liberated Borg character made it to Level 30 and beat the (old) Defense of New Romulus with the skill point bug.
You destroy a few points on it and the portal closes, but the asteroid is still there... It's plausible that enough was left to repair it.
It's also plausible that there's tons of these things around that we don't know about. Possibly even one near New Romulus, since it was hinted that season 8 events would involve the aftermath of activating the underground gate on New Romulus.
So if you knew it, why make a thread intentionally acting like you didn't know it? That seems very trollish.
STO is about my Liberated Borg Federation Captain with his Breen 1st Officer, Jem'Hadar Tactical Officer, Liberated Borg Engineering Officer, Android Ops Officer, Photonic Science Officer, Gorn Science Officer, and Reman Medical Officer jumping into their Jem'Hadar Carrier and flying off to do missions for the new Romulan Empire. But for some players allowing a T5 Connie to be used breaks the canon in the game.

That's what I liked about the Dyson Sphere from relics. Sure, it had been visited before, but in the episode they don't actually spend a lot of time there or interact with it much. It would have been great to revisit.
You do realize that everyone's ships are not only able to use transwarp, but many have quantum slipstream drives?
As for the sphere from Relics, the star has aged and the inside is so radioactive that any ship that ventures inside would suffer the deaths of it's crew. If we want to go inside, we need a new sphere.
The other civilization couldn't rebuild a dead gate, what makes you sure the feds can rebuild one that was blown up? They can't even one on one pvp without having someone else help gank when things get out of control.

You're wrong..... it'll include a soda-fountain as well.
Don't tempt them.

That looks much closer to what I was hoping for, but eeeeeeeeeehh. There's still time for other things to be done.
YOU!!! I know I can blame you for this one! :P;)
I know that! It still bothers me!

Don't forget, there's a ship sized Iconian Gate, built into an asteroid in the Brea system.

Haven't replayed the mission recently, but according to STOwiki, you disable it, not destroy it.
