Crippling Lag And DC's Since Patch.

Title says it all really.

Anybody having this since the servers went back up? I tried the CE and was just rubberbanding all over the place and the launcher is taking forever just to come up with the Engage button.

And yes, I've made sure it's not my firewall.

    was having issues staying logged in last night, now I get passed the char select screen then: loading.. server not responding, disconnected from server, (was getting logout2 last night we will see if it stabilizes today (I am currently a gold sub btw)

    I just started experiencing it myself minutes ago on ESD... I got a server disconnection, then i could come back online, but now i am indeed having small lag peaks every two minutes or so.

    It does look a lot like the same issue that some people in Europe are currently having.

    I hope Cryptic do something about it soon. Thanks.

    Good thing im not the only one with this problem. I've also been experiencing it since patch.

    Same here. It took me about 10 minutes to get out of the New Romulus system. Constant disconnects and epic lag.

    Getting disconnected after 10 s wait on server to respond in the loading screen.
    It has become quite consistent now with the D/C trend. 8/10 times, I will get disconnected right after the character selection screen while waiting in loading zone..

    I'm having this severe lag as well, it's so bad the game is unplayable right now. Massive Rubber Banding, frequent disconnection warnings.

    I called my ISP Tech number a couple of times and they said there is nothing wrong on my end, so it has to be Cryptic's servers.

    I really hope they extend the event.

    I'm getting disconnected in all kinds of ways. Changing instances at Starfleet Academy. Timeout, DC. Trying to load into a CCN or CCE match - timeout, DC. Even trying to load a toon - timeout, DC.

    Wonderful stuff here. Please Cryptic, make it less wonderful.

    I've had 5 dc in the last hour and a half and been having problem for most of the week with random dc, unbearable lag and rubberbanding and not being able to log into the game. This is a copy of the latest tracert test i've done.

    Not having any disconnects or rubber banding. Only having a bit of a slow down when there are too many mirror ships in CE.

    On a good day I have only have a 900kbs connection speed

    Might be an Eircom problem but their staff is so dumb, they dont get it.

    I am having these same issues as well.
    Cant stay logged in for more than a minute before I get server not responding and I get kicked off.
    Also having trouble with the launcher loading all the time, either it wont load at all or only partly loads.

    same here. not able to play anymore due to d/c's and server not responding. it's happening since this afternoon.

    please fix it asap.

    I'm experiencing the same disconnects after about 2 mins and I'm using BT fibre.

    This is where the problem looks like its occurring. Above.net Trans-Atlantic links is showing symptoms of excessive network traffic, resulting in severe packet drop that is causing the connection problems with STO

    It looks like both Above.net and Tinet.net Trans-Atlantic cable links are both having issue today. With 2 major Trans-Atlantic carries having issues, its easy to see why multiple European based ISP are having problems connecting to STO today...
