Launcher Script Error

Something's happening with my launcher. I'm trying to open it from Arc, but before it opens, I get a message about some kind of script error, and when I continue, the launcher doesn't display properly.

Here's a screencap. The launcher has not loaded yet.

Help, please?

    Not sure what's causing this but have you tried loading it from the desktop or you can launch GameClient.exe from the Cryptic folder or wherever the game is installed. Hope it helps!

    I've tried that, too. It doesn't work.

    Sorry to hear that, it's frustrating when you can't get in believe me I know. As sucky as it is maybe try a full wipe reinstall of the game? Or go down the support route, customer support is decent about returning emails although what they offer may just be what's already been suggested elsewhere in the forums, but that's the limit of what I know to do. I hope you get this resolved soon and can return to the game!

    I hate to be the bearer of even worse news, but I too appear to be having the same error except it isn't giving me any script-error popups. Last year(the last time I had enough time to play it) it worked beautifully, no errors, lag, had no complaints. Now on a fresh windows installation on that same computer I can't even get past here.

    I've gone through every compatibility option to no avail, reinstalled the launcher multiple times, checked every thread(and every post thereof) in the twenty or so pages of results searching the forums, cleared my cache, and still I cannot find anything wrong (I went so far as to check my C++ redistributable)

    I get no logs, just the Cryptic Error Handler popping up. If I had a log I'd dump it.

    Your all lucky, I haven't been able to play since the new lock box Patch, It keeps force verifying the files and then when I launch the game it it will crash mid load, and I've tried EVERTHING....I was able to play ONE TIME but then the next day the problem reared it's ugly head again and I haven't been able to get on my account since, and that was four weeks ago since they said it was fixed with a map move....:(

    Okay let me rephrase that: I can't even get the launcher to start up!

    Therefore no updating, so no playing.
