Patching Shuts Down Computer

I don't know what's happening, but since the 27th of July, I've been trying to patch STO, but the patching just freezes at some point, then causes my computer to go into a BSOD. I thought I had the wrong CPU (my CPU is new) and couldn't play it, but I was able to play it before the 27th of July, so I don't know what's happening.

Here are my specs:

Note down the error message you get when you see a BSOD, it is really the only way to diagnose what problem you are experiencing. If you need to disable Automatic Restart, do so under System Properties -> Advanced -> Startup and Recovery.

    I apologise for lateness...

I've checked, but it's just a standard BSOD...
