Orion Slaver Reimbursement (Ferengi Collector Update)

I'm not here to complain about the change nor demand/beg for the devs to revert the changes. I've come to terms with why I believe they've made the change.
I'm here to ask for a Reimbursement for the dilithium I spent buying these pets.
I purchased these pets based on the steal rate being much different. This rate was changed without consult or use of player feedback. (Not an attempt to flame, just pointing out facts as reference)
There is presidence to changes affect said dilithium item and players being given the option for refunds.
The Andorian weapons are proof of a weapon that went live. Players paid hard earned dilithium, only to see the weapon stats changed after the fact. This was not a popular change as the stats were lowered than originally advertised.
I believe the Advanced Orion Slavers and Elite Orion Slavers should be added to the same list. We purchased it based off stats that were changed to something many do not approve.
I would like the Development team to take action in this instance. As it would show good support to a changing environment that is an MMO.
All that being said, I believe the Ferengi Collector should be updated to accept all dilithium items whose stats have changed due to different reasons. Maybe even extending to Lobi Store items that may also receive changes.
I would really like community and dev team feedback on this.

So, not going to happen. It'd be admitting the ultimate failure on their part too. But hey could give them a great source of feedback for the metrics they love so much.
And the argument is likely going to be they don't want you just trading ships around whenever you get bored in oppose to buying new ones.
But I couldn't agree more it's a great idea I am to trade my carriers in royally.

I guess that would also be a Ferengi's response to the proposition of acquiring ships that claim to, but don't really, steal contraband. Certainly not enough to warrant giving dil away for it.
Still haven't decided what to replace them with, I do so love them

the one cannon and the micro photon does about the same dps..
now that you can run 5 or even 10 missions without 1 contraband makes these the most useless hangars in the game

The Ferengi Collector had no reason to rebuy the Andorian weapons either. It was just an easy add on since he already purchased the old Science Consoles.
Not asking to resell a ship, asking to return a piece of gear (hangar pet). Which is exactly what the Andorian weapons are, does not apply to ships.
But for them to do something like that would be like an official declaration of failure.
They are better off doing a silent veto or cook up a story.
The change to the Andorian weapons were because they wanted to add Fleet versions of the weapon. It had to be scaled down to match existing weapons of its level.
If the change was made to balance out dilithium earning across the factions. It would not be a declaration of failure on their part.

Bottom line, the pet had something taken away with nothing added to balance its loss. Not asking for Zen, asking for its worth in Dilithium. If the pet had existed in its current state at its release, many players would not of purchased.
[I don't believe items/ships or anything of the sort that did not have its stats changed since its release should apply]
This needs to be corrected
Plus... how many folks ditched their carriers when fighters became useless compared to frigates? By which I mean that fighters often blow up before leveling enough to reach parity with their original base stats. Anyway, I doubt that they want to provide a refund to folks that can then just use that dilithium for something other than a fighter or frigate.
I personally play both sides myself, my 50s as follows
2 Fed Tacts, 1 Fed Eng, 1 Fed Sci, 1 Rom/Fed Eng
1 KDF Tact, 1 KDF Eng, 1 KDF Sci, 1 Rom/KDF Eng
For me its not a matter of whining for KDF only.
The players as a whole whine for every bug in the game. Fed bugs get fixed faster (FACT, not trying to show favoritism to the KDF) so those bug complaints get filed to the back. KDF bugs are fixed at a much slower pace, we continue to make complaints. Since we are seeing the same old horse being kicked, its misconstrued as whining.
I'm 100% positive that if Fed bugs were left awry, we'd continue seeing complaints. Hence the length of the "Why do you Hate the Galaxy" thread. I stopped keeping track of that thread personally.
But, back to the original topic...
I simply request for the Advanced and Elite Orion Slavers to be added to the Ferengi Collector. It was changed to balance out dilithium earning, and no longer works as it did. If that is the case, then it should follow the Andorian weapons to the Ferengi Collector.
This logic could of been applied to the Andorian Weapons, however it was not. It set the grounds for my request.
I know... but the recent track record has made me pessimistic. Sorry.
I do support the idea... but yeah, pessimistic.

Its like scam or april fools bad joke.
Sorry to say it, but they don't have to consult the players. They do listen to feedback though, so if you really find them to be unbalanced and weak (I wouldn't know as I don't fly carriers), then talk about it at length on these forums. Many people will say they don't listen because they don't fix things instantaneously, but they do pay attention and they make allowances whenever they can.

Thing makes me laugh so hard is carriers before Season 4 were nice and they actually were feared. It left the carriers with one tooth that hadn't rotted off yet.
The funniest thing is the fleet orion ship I have the risian corvette is an upgrade compared to it. Let the carriers collect dust as they are nerfed into oblivion.
