In response to captiangeko's tweet (
https://twitter.com/CaptainGeko/status/361650465030668288 ) here is a couple of ideas I have have had for consoles.
-Project Statis beam. We see this used by NPC klingon cruiser, maybe it's time for the players to get a version of.
-Virulent hull eatting microbes. Does a damage over time and hull resist debuff.
-Inertial Tractor beam. a beam that increases the inertia value of the ship. make and escort suddenly have the mass of a carrier.

My PvE/PvP hybrid skill tree
the tractor beam seen in the way of the warrior, where it also reduces incoming energy damage while activated.
some type of probe launcher, and the probe can enhance science abilities in a set area, or perhaps sends back tactical data on ships in the radius and reduces their defence or something.
Experimental long-range torpedoes.
Emergency Z-Axis Thrusters (Think Enterprise rising up behind the Reliant)
Imagine this:
Console - Universal - Temporal Reversion Conduit
Targets single enemy vessel causing it to rewind in time, reversing any damage dealt and healing done within the last 13 seconds.
I really like this idea.
Maybe something like a torpedo that acts as a temporary support craft. Like the Bio-Neural Torpedo launcher only it would buff your ship or debuff an enemy while en-route to it's target. It could fire a Tachyon beam instead of having a turret.

Fire a Torpedo at a shielded BoP. at the last possible moment I hack his cloaking device and the shields drop!
or an enemy lines up his cannons and I start his evasive maneuvers and he overshoots and flies in random directions.
or I activate his tactical teams but it redistributes shields on the wrong side!
Also spy holostealth probe. I can beam it over to the other ship and it disguises itself holograhically as an engineer and then takes a few moments before transmitting the enemies shield frequency which allowes me 80% shield penetretation.
Console - Universal - Structural Integrity Multiplier
Provides a small passive HP boost and damage resistance duff when used with Ability: Brace For Impact.
While Ramming Speed is active provides a 50% chance to reduce damage taken by your ship by 30% upon contact with enemy vessels.
While Ramming Speed is active provides a 50% chance to increase damage done by 30% upon contact with enemy vessels.

A console that summons a crystal shard attack pet.
A console that gives you a deflector attack.

Console - Universal Emergency Recall: Shortens the docking time for carrier pets by half and doubles the pet's repair rate at a cost of putting the carrier on full stop for 5 seconds.

We know from "First Contact" that a deflector is charged with antiprotons (at least that of the Enterprise) so how about a deflector-based antiproton beam thingy?
Kinda like the Desler...I mean Tachyon Beam...only with damage?
For Starfleet, how about the ability to reinforce your shields via a deflector pulse, recharging them and giving them increased damage resistance for a time?
This would be based on what Janeway did in "Equinox".
I'd like to see the red disruptor beam the K't'inga used in DS9 as a special console.
The Hayne's manual describes that some K't'ings had their deflectors (that surround the forward torpedo launcher) modified to fire a disruptor beam.
I'd also like to see a magnetometric sensor array for the KDF.
They already have the Magnetometric Generator so the technology is already established with the Klingons.
That is can be used as a sensing/guiding technology is known from "The Best of Both Worlds"
This console would allow us to 'hack' our way into the target's computer system, allowing us to control the target ship for 10 seconds.
Like Kirk did, in Wrath of Khan, when he 'ordered' Reliant to lower her shields by remote.

It potentially wouldn't even work in that regard. Remember, Picard tried to do the same thing with Ben Maxwell and the Phoenix, but it failed utterly (and the Phoenix destroyed a Galor in the process).

Target that's stolen from suffers a 95% movement penalty for 5 seconds. also gets the build of killed enemy for 30 seconds.
To self instant re-spawn at re-spawn area. 20% increase to defense for 30 seconds.
damage penalty to self of 5% Damage dealt and received, until destroyed.
Activates holo emmitter of ship that killed you.
even if console is removed upon re-spawn you keep received build.
I like both of these.

Damage output depends on:
- Starship Energy weapon specialisation Captain Skill
- Current Weapon Energy
- Mass (inertia) of the ship itself, the bigger the ship the more powerful the beam Overload.
CD: 90-40 seconds, dependent on "Starship energy Weapons" Captain Skill.
Starfleet Cruiser special torpedo slot enabler console
Starfleet Crusiers equipped with this console get a additional 5th forward torpedo only weapon slot.
Since these consoles will only enhance Starfleet cruisers (and not one single Escort), Capt. Gecko will never realize them, lol.
Sorta...kinda...I was thinking more along the lines of something that lasts 30 seconds and boosts accuracy and critical chance by 20% for all weapons (beams, cannons, torps)...something noticeable but with limited time.:)
