Any fix to the LOR loading screen crash

Ever since the LOR launch the game crashes at LOR loading screen rigth after the cryptic loading screen it sits for about 30 sec then crash.. i have reinstalled the game about 6 times.. i have turned off my antivirus, even tried running in safe mode.. its a no go..

im on windows xp sp3
2gbs of ram
2 harddrives
dual core Pentium proc @ 2.0 ghz
nvidia geforce 6600 gpu

and thats about it.. the game ran great before LOR and now it wont launch.. someone help!!!!

Ive sent in multiple tickets.. and ive commented on the previous thread, but it doesnt seem like anyone is listening so im starting a new one..

    I have exactly the same problem. I am new to STO and am yet to play it. It's a fresh install on the following spec system...

    Windows 8 Enterprise x64
    2 x 3.0GHz Dual Core Xeon
    16Gb RAM
    256Gb SSD HDD
    1.8Tb SATA HDD
    AMD Radeon 6550 (1Gb) GFX
