Easy is not the best way for any problem and not for STO.
Maybe it is now very easy to get Nukara marks. But that is the death for Nukara Prime itself. No one will now fly to Nukara Prime, no one will play the other missions there.
In the past we had fun on Nukara Prime. There was a social part, waiting in front of the dungeon, playing HARD with 7-9 players, ore only with to engineers.
Now there are only five players. Going in and going out. Very quick. Some players leave the instance sooner then others, because there have no suit and dying.
Cryptic ruins his game. In near feature, Nukarw will be dead, sector space will be dead.
Nukara is as terrible in design as Defera, neither have any redeeming value outside of grinding marks or borg bits. Nukara was dead the moment Cryptic fixed the exterior fleet mark Group turn in back a long time ago. The only reason it had some semblance of activity before the latest update was people zerging content designed for 5 players.
Da heck you talkin mann. Nukara Prime was a good if not great sandbox level. We need more not less of that. Queing is kool but it's for on the fly or lazy folk or more anti-social types/bitter.
When you go into an MMO open world u kan learn to enjoy the ppl around you, even goof off with them. As it stand this was still a bad makeup
While Exterior is a to easy part taken less then 4minz at time with Nuk Vets, Interior wasn't made for a PVE Que, the mission is more or less a mess 80% of the time. Neither mission was really built for a Que system & we all kno that. So glitchy
Adding everything to a pve queue takes away from the MMO experience, it just becomes a series of menus like Call of Duty. Whats next? Loadout screens? people play MMOs for substance, and environment. Yes there are MMOs out there that are just menus and quickplay, and I dont recall very many of them being all that successful, except at making money from Pay 2 win players.
So.. did transwarp and warp 200 take too long? This is kinda getting silly, again you are becoming less trek, and more COD. I understand the casual gamer doesnt have time to float around the galaxy yadda yadda, but the serious gamer, is bored after 15 minutes and everything is completed.
MMOs are social, atm its just a bunch of ships in space, who never talk ot each other, and zone chat at ESD and DS9 which is full of idiots, and usually lacks any real conversation. Adding everything to queues amplifies this.
the fun of nukara and defera is going there, grinding the hards and sticking around to do some killing with the team you found in the hard missions, or just kicking it socially and doing something. now there is even less reason to beam down, anywhere, ever.
Ground combat is half broken, but some people get into it, why alienate these players? Whats the point of uniforms if you never beam down anywhere? why have them, lets just be ships, no captains, no crew. just queue up a map and do some pew pew.
Revert the change, yes its convenient, yes its easier, but in the end is it healthy for the community as a whole?
btw, the queue is broken half the time. I got booted 4 times waiting on a nukara hard in queue because I *gasp* wasnt in a team when i beamed in. (pathetic.. incompetance much?)
I'm uncertain as to the nature of the introduction of these missions to the PvE queue, but I'll add my experience. As they currently are, they were just pretty much broken. Sure, if you get a decent team, you might do well. However, if even one or two people on the team aren't pulling their weight, you are pretty much guaranteed a failure. During the last portion of the exterior map, there are just too many Tholians to even attempt to rescue a downed teammate without yourself getting stuck by a trapper, so this whole no-respawn thing is just absurd. The interior map was just absurd to begin with, as by the third or fourth stage, there was literally not a single 5'x5' patch of ground that didn't have a Tholian touching it.
After the last patch I'm avoiding Nukara, it's not fun anymore and I'm just sticking with the CE and Azure.
It was great to gather with others around the Hard Area and do a little social while waiting for a team. We can't do that anymore.

So, I have moved to other missions. nor do I want to reward Cryptic by playing the hards any longer. I would support these changes be reverted, and Nukara being a destination again.

Putting the Nukara Hard missions in the PVE Ques is hurting the game as a whole! It shows that collectively they have no insight into the game. Thats like taking the hard missions away from the Defera invasion event. If you want to make a Tholian PVE how about you "First" put back the hard missions, and make a couple new Tholian maps!!! Ask they players what they might want as a PVE for Tholians space/ground. You have giving us a new rep system with nothing to go off! I for one am not going to waste my game time playing the same 2 missions over and over to get 35/60 marks when stuff cost 500+ marks. It's to repetitive for getting so little. Listen to your players, since its obvious that dev's, programmers, and the decision makers don't play the game.
this move is wrong , for 2 reasons , it takes away a social aspect of gathering players to do these missions . it was fine the way it was and it worked . i met some nice players .
and 2 once again Cryptic takes the TREK outta STAR TREK . Really stop putting everything in a QUEUE that you can access from anywhere . if you really want a selectable Queue then make it so it only avail in that sector block . not from outside that block at all . that would be a acceptable compromise. to what we have now .

I like the concept of invasion zones where the missions are only available at those locations. Cyptic, dare not to do the same mistake with Defera !!
