lore items you want to see in game

Title says it all, are there any oddities, items ships or other things you'd like to see in the game? I'll start it off:

Varon-T Disruptor: Ultimate brutal weapon, would fit well as a Romulan high-end reward.

Probes!
A quintessential star trek "dirty trick" is the overloaded probe (great for tac officer ability). On top of that there's the sci-officer potential of having them used as intended. For engineers there could be one that has, say, a moving repair radius or some kind of debuff (bayrons?)

Husnock Warship: A great excuse for a powerful cross-faction escort-type ship.

Kzinti: rather than making up more disposable bad-guy races, use one from TOS. Their police vessel would make a great non-factional shuttle/small craft.

    Kzinti: forget it.
They already tried it and couldn't get the license for them.
That's why we have the Ferasans.

Fair enough these are just pie-in-the-sky, "man wouldn't it be cool" stuff.

The Kzinti they can't get the license for because they originated with the author of The Soft Weapon episode and were a favorite bad guy of HIS. They're a series-transplant originally. That's how Starfleet Battles got to use them and make them a major empire, and they never showed up in Star Trek again...

    Oh and another one:

more manuvers, like the Picard Manuver (using warp microbursts), the Auto-phaser interlock, etc.

    - A few melee weapons: dk'tagh, mek'leth, romulan dagger (is it in?)...
    - not to turn this into The Stat Trek Sims Online, but more props we can decorate our interiors. The mechanics somewhat exists with trophy placement... I would love to personalize my quarters a tad...

    Genesis Device Universal Colnsole:

Whenever you activate it, it creates class M planet and launch it against enemy ship for 9999999 kinetic damage.

it has an interesting double meaning.

Sorry if I came off as harsh.
We're getting the hottest day of the year over here today and it is getting onto my nerves.

Anyways yes the problem lies with Niven's heirs (dammit, I originally wrote "hair", I think my brain is starting to melt) as far as I know.
It's the same problem that already plagued SFB's PC counterpart.
Interplay could use the SFB ships, the stats etc.
They just hade to rename the Kzinti to "Mirak" to make it work.

I would have loved them ingame, not to mention a cool ship designed that's a nod do the SFB ships.
Or to the one that was planned for "Enterprise's" fifth season which was supposed to include a Kzinti revamp (like the Gorn).
One of the concept drawings for their ship looked like this:
    http://images.wikia.com/memoryalpha/en/images/9/95/Kzinti_vessel_c2150s.jpg

    should look familiar.

Melee weapons- human sword (a number seen in Day of the Dove)
    Klingon knife (forget the name)

T5 Connie (yes all you haters- I know and don't care. I want what I want). I'd accept a sub-optimal design (like the Klingon T5 D7) or even a T4.

    TOS skin for T5 Warbird

Selectable skins (with matching effects) for weapons or at least the option to have reasonable sized weapons of the current look.

Selectable Energy Weapon conversion from the 'fire everything' to firing one bearing weapon (no change in total damage desired). Torpedo fire can be left as is.

Selectable ship uniforms for crew on your ship.

    Proper sized ship bridges

Wrath of Khan Bridges (I'd take Excelisor just as well).

    .

Regarding the Klingon knife Worf uses a Klingon knife in a few of the early Klingon missions. Around level 8-10 I think. But it does not look to me like one from the show. Kind of looks to me like it would not be good for anything, but I am not a knife fighter.

Takes heroic Pose: THE PHOTONIC CANNON
Don't look silly... Don't call it the "Z-Store/Zen Store"...
Let me put the rumors to rest: it's definitely still the C-Store (Cryptic Store) It just takes ZEN.

The TR-116 make it to the C-Store, in it's original form.

Motion Picture era EVA suits with booster pack

I might get flamed for this, but I'd love to have a M1921/28 Thompson SMG in the game. That way, I can dress my character in a suit and pull a Picard in a Borg front replay. :D:P

Just replicate it and then you have no need for sequencer, it would be kinetic. You design the clip with an inbuilt replicater that only replicates ammo.

Though I can't think of any item right at the moment, but how about this...

    An omega directive mission?

Maybe pops up in the exploration zones?

With maybe a special consumable torpedo?

Before F2P I purchased the TOS Mirror Costumes.
I got 1 Spock Shirt and 1 Halter Top.

The Kirk Tunic is in game. You can't take the damn sleeves off and put that in.

TNG type 1 phaser, TNG type 2 phaser,

http://en.memory-alpha.org/wiki/Type_2_phaser?file=Seven_of_Nine_meets_Anna_Jameson.jpg type 2 phaser "pistol" (29th century tech, but we have timeships, so...)

    http://en.memory-alpha.org/wiki/Type_3_phaser?file=Phaser_rifle.jpg Type 3 phaser

    http://en.memory-alpha.org/wiki/Compression_phaser_rifle?file=Compression_phaser_rifle.jpg Phaser compression rifle

And countless other weapons (Cardassian phasers, Bajoran phasers, proper melee weapons) that replace those ridiculously oversized, flashing abominations of made-up weapons which are currently in-game and have nothing to do with Star Trek. It would be best to allow weapon customization: You select the design of your weapon (for example "compression rifle"), select it's primary and secondary fire modi (compression bam/wide bem for example) and upgrade it via craffting with procs. Get rid of those pesky miniguns and human-head sized "hand phasers".

I would absolutely love some class 9 probes or some minor version of that warhead probe that B'lana modified but the cardasians built that was encountered by voyager.

Or even a version of the warheads that the holographic doctor encountered.

It would be awesome to have those on my vesta! The probes could stack sensor scan so mch faster on my enemies, and they could be modified to project their own tachyon fields to weaken shields.

Altho with the way it's going the new gear that's coming out will make everyone immune to all science skills with their Power Insul and Kinetic resist on all that gear. Might as well be throwing rocks at the escorts now.

Proper melee system. Ie: you and the other guy takes out a sword and there is actual sword fighting with parrying, thrusts, countering, etc, and actual clanging when swords clash. and not just swords, the Ushaan knives, mek'leth, et al.
    Rejoice JJ Trek people....

I didn't know that. Though why hide it in one of the bazillion ingame stores? :( Why not just open up weapon designs faction wide (for example via their new allmighty rep system) to just get thse fugly weapons out of the game :D

I totally agree that I would also really like to see more TNG, TOS and Voyager-era weaponry.

    Especially:

Bajoran Phasers (always my favorite look for a non-Starfleet phaser)
    TNG-style Type-3 phaser rifles
    Type-1 holdout phaser
    Bajoran phaser rifle
Plasma phaser (as proposed by Riker)

Projectile weapons (MK-33 and the like): would be nice as a "beginner weapon" for fighting borg: no energy modulation effect because they're pure kinetic, however they do less damage than energy weapons. You can choose either a bigger alpha strike at the cost of having to stop and remodulate weapons, or the kinetic weapons, until you have an auto-modulating weapon from the task force sets.

I don't recall if this is technically a "lore" item as per the OP, however, With all the overpowered cloak capable klink & rommie toons in-game, we need an activateable device that when launched (No Target Required) will de-cloak those pesky hit and run tactic dependant players.. I have PLENTY of unpleasant terms to describe this style of gameplay. I'm certain there's been at least one occasion where "surgery on a torpedo" resulted in being able to spot a cloaked ship so as to even the odds.

And while we're at it,, Why does my Fed Character's cloaking "DEVICE" take up a "CONSOLE" slot... but other factions cloaking device is built into the ship and show's up in the captains tray,,,? What the what!???!?

Got a smidge off-topic there, but damn that irks me. Anyway, MUCH needed device slot item to decloak a most unpleasant over-used pvp tactic. Heck, if KIRK could do it, why the heck can't we (centuries later) have a more up-to-date ingame method which DOESN'T require running a VERY USELESS Jem'Hadar Space Set. Nuthin beats 2-piece borg + shield of choice. Thoughts? Ideas? Wrong Thread?

I think what you want already exists on the Nebula class ship. It's called tachyon detection grid or something like that.
I'll sell you some weapons from New Romulus. Never fired, only dropped once.
