325 am on the west coast? i think you have your time zones mixed up
Im in the UK and branflakes is visiting the Netherlands, Amsterdam. His current timezone is gmt +1 which is one hour more than mine in the UK. So his time is 3:30 currently. He is not in the USA u know.
when I log in, I get to the screen where it tells me it is retrieving characters, it takes a long time, then tells me the server timed out and to try again. Trying again only gets the same. re started computer, same thing happens. problem just started and I never had this problem before today. I could loging and play fine before today. how do I fix it?
Excuse, hell i posted a ticket before checking here ( I know, stupid right? ) and they got right back to me by e-mail with the usual TRIBBLE about it being a known issue and having to co ordinate departments to fix it.... however it was nice of em to unilaterally change my ticket status to "solved". If it's solved then why the hell am I still here on the forums and not playing the game :mad:
What's the use of getting hundreds of thousands of dollars from your sales (i.e. you sold probably a 10,000 Life Time memberships during the sale) but not keeping the servers in shape?
Because once you've paid you can't get a refund. Classic snake oil sale's pitch.
I'm done with Cryptic. I tried to have faith in them,but they have proven utterly useless in terms of...hmm... what word to use... usefulness (redundant, I know). So, in the words of Tony Stark, I say this, "I tried to play ball with these assclowns!"

I told you, primetime in europe means it is night there, so they have to pay overtime if someone is actuall working, so they only have the janitor there monitoring and then calling the it guy at home

Same here - I was able to play for an hour or so this afternoon, then logged out and now can't get on. I've only starting playing again two weeks ago...has this kind of thing happened often?

but at the same time I cant believe im going to say this but I want to thank cryptic for putting the best online game I have ever played out there.i realize they have their work cut out for themselves and they are trying their best(I hope).but u cant satisfy everyone all the time.

What u don't know? They FIXED the server stability issue, now you can not log in, good way to fix it i think.
makes sense. if you break the login server, that way nobody can get online. and if nobody is online, then there's NOBODY have stability issues! problem solved!
