I play Trills. I would love to have their spots on their necks extended to meet the ones on their torsos so they don't look like their tight collars rubbed them off. :-P

Currently, they run from the head to the middle of the neck, stop, then start again on their upper bodies. This is only noticeable on some outfits (Formal Wear, KDF cutout - yes, Joined Trill KDF - and a couple others with low necklines).

As it's simply cosmetic, it's just a wish. But I would think just a "filling in" of the texture overlay for the spots would fix it without major work needed.

Also, I wish Trill Spots were available on the torso/leg of aliens. My Romulan alien-gen is designed to be a Romulan-Trill hybrid, and can have spots on her head, but not her body.

    100% agree.

However if you look at Commodity Broker Ariana on Risa, she seems to have her neck spots going further down her neck.

They could also use the spots on their legs extending down to the ankles before they fade out rather then stopping halfway down the lower part of the leg.

The Beachcomber outfit DOES NOT work under space suits. It made my head pop off.

Agreed. I've got a Vulcan-Trill hybrid Alien who would love to have spots going all the way down, as well. I mean if they are going to let us use the spots in the Alien-Gen at all, then let us use all of them.

Heh. The first time this happened to me, I just couldn't stop laughing. I'm not sure why it tickled me so. But here's me sans head:

I especially giggle at how my "helmet light" is still visible/functioning.

    :P

Heh, my KDF tactical officer is a half-Klingon, half-Trill. She is barred from wearing skirts until she can have leg spots. Which probably means forever.

Not sure if it's been mentioned or not. I was trying to add my new Risian Beachcomber outfit to my Nausicaan, but there's a bug. I'm forced to take the bright red "KDF Holiday 2012" scarf. I can't unselect it, because on the Off Duty Uniform page, the Collar option is missing.

I tried switching to Uniform and selecting another scarf or even one of the two Armored collars, then swtiching back to Off Duty, but it doesn't help. No matter what I select for a Collar option on any of the uniform slot types, when I switch back to Off Duty, the KDF Holiday 2012 scarf reappears.

And what's worse, the scarf it clipping terribly with the Risian Explorer top.

Here's a screenshot showing the scarf, clipping, and lack of collar option.

Very annoying and effectively means I've wasted my Favors on this outfit for this toon, as I won't wear the uniform with that scarf.

    :(

Not sure if its mentioned but addin the problems to the clothing options of Female KDF players here to, Missing pieces of the honour guard set, helmets etc all stack up.

While most of the stuff has bin covered I havnt seen the mentionin of the Be'ves option.

Would love to just see all outfits thrown into a pile (faction specific so Fed fed, etc) And be able to mix and match. Why does it have to be so restricted and hard as it is. They already throw the whole unification of one uniform out the window. So the whole splitting it in 5 tabs (Off / Duty , Formal / Omega / KDF or Maco) is just riducles..

    Nope.

I don't recall any Dev response regarding uniforms/tailor since LoR launched... With the exception that one of he Release Notes said the 22nd Century Uniform's pallets were fixed, but they in fact were not.

Why can't alien kdf use orion or romulan or even reman clothing? The main reason I don't play that side is because of these restrictions. Otherwise I'd be there more than the Federation side. The KDF boots suck too, like some mad max biker nonsense and not enough options for female players.

"Boots Soft" are not available for male toons anymore! Also, and this is an old issue, I miss my TOS-era nerf-foam Gorn head.

I'm not one to complain a lot about Cryptic, since I try to stay positive about the great job they've done with STO. So, I really hope that this isn't taken as more rage about the game... but the Tailor and costume consistency problems are pretty severe. Color palates change from item to item, character to character. Costume pieces that should absolutely be available on all characters are not. Costume options that used to be available (soft boots) are just gone for certain characters now. Color option changes on one article of clothing often change the colors on different articles simultaneously (especially with the Korath lobi uniform, and many Romulan uniforms).

And lastly, exchange officers, Diplomatic officers, etc... should REALLY have the option to wear the uniform of the faction with which they're serving. E.G: With my FED crew, my Gorn diplomatic exhange BOFF should be able to wear a starfleet uniform. With my Romulan crew, my starfleet vet reward Android BOFF should be able to wear a Romulan uniform. With my KDF crew, my Breen BOFF should be able to wear a KDF uniform over his body with his helmet sticking out the top (much like the Breen prisoner in 4028 wearing the prisoner geddup). This is near the top of my list of complaints for STO. Uniformity among my crew is very important.

But all in all, STO is moving forward nicely. I just wish some of these problems would be addressed. Real customization of characters is very important to us. It is what gives the community members a sense of individualism. I just wish we had the freedom to make the characters exactly as we should be able to.
Yes, I really miss having the soft boots option, too. I agree that the color palette should be opened fully on all objects and all factions should have access to all off duty and non starfleet uniform outfit parts.

    1. Romulans may not wear eyepatches. Romulans may not wear any head-tech. They may not have facial hair (though stubble seems just fine). Alien-Roms may wear TOS earrings, but not Roms (uh, really?)

And the devs are apparently very sexist, denying Romulan females the option to wear the Centurion helmet from the TOS uniform pack. Just because you never saw a woman wearing the helmet on the show doesn't mean they didn't wear them; and even if they didn't wear them in TOS, why would that mean a woman in the current timeline would refuse to wear them?
    2. There is no complete TOS outfit for KDF, and the few costume pieces offered, aren't quite right. ...Where are the knee high boots? Where are the subtly striped tunics?

The stripes were just a weave pattern, but still very cool and very missing from the TOS tunic.

The trousers might be a bit too baggy for them to replicate, and sparkly, and the boots were very plain looking, so they could be easily done.

Best alternative I could make actually gets me a lot of compliments (by a lot I mean a few, but there aren't that many people KDF side and they don't really do a lot of socialising. :p). It not only gives people the feel of the series, but looks better than the outfits in the series ever did.

The top could stand to be baggier, and actually look like a vest over a tunic, but I doubt they "have the tech" to do that.

Oh, and no TOS female KDF outfits.

Can anyone tell us the way to make up? We got a bit lost and... Oh, just go on like this? OK.
