Lag and rubberbanding

I can't play .. 600 ms.. too much lag.. sometimes goes to 8k ms.. O_O

People around me are walking around.. my character is just stuck there.. I try to move it.. it snaps back into place..


frequest disconnections
network latency - rubberbanding

now.. I cannot even LOGON to a map server - this happense SPECIALLY in eathspace dock - all instances.

1.) Running the loader - there is a slight waiting time to get it to load hitting CTRL X i see its really slow
2.) Loging in is fine - slight lag in the character select screen
3.) frequent in game disconnection and lag/rubberbanding

    Finally, at least I know I'm not the only one. You wouldn't perchance be coming out of the NJ/NY metro area, would you?

    No disconnects for me though, just rubberbanding every 5 to 10 seconds or so. :(

    Exactly the same thing here, and I'm from Central Europe.

    I had terrible lagging when I was in game, especially during queued events. I was getting 'server is not responding' messages, while waiting idly in orbit over New Romulus...these messages would get over 100 seconds sometimes. When I asked in fleet chat, if anyone else was having problems, several said that they were having the exact same problems. I then said that I was glad that I was not the only one...then the game kicked me out! after trying to log back in, i couldn't get past the character selection screen...couldn't connect to log in server, or disconnected for unknown reason messages are all I get once past the character selection screen. I closed the game, restarted the launcher, which took some time to load, and once into the character selection screen, I'm having the same problems as before...I'm unable to play the game at this point! Before yesterday's patch, things were fine...not anymore! I was able to delete all of my in-game mail though, so it's not all bad, lol!

    I've been getting the same thing happening since Monday afternoon. The game is practically unplayable I can't even do simple things like switching characters, moving items to and from my bank and DOffing without the game locking up and disconnecting me. I'm not even going to get into trying to do STFs or any other group content. I made that mistake a couple of times and it was basically a slideshow until I disconnected...

    And no, it's not my connection; several people in my fleet and some friends are having the exact same problem. My highest ping to the Cryptic gateway is 95ms (over a 24 hour period) with no packet loss, which is as it usually is for me connecting from Mexico. Weird thing is, several of the people having this problem are in the US; while a couple guys I know that play from Britain have absolutely no connection problems at all.
