The only Imperial uniform that can be completely replicated is the 'technician' uniform you see in 'cutting the cord', because they don't wear belts.
The Technician have a shorter boot option that players don't have .
Norway and Yeager dammit... I still want my Typhoon and Jupiter though. JJ Trek The Kelvin Timeline is just Trek and it's fully canon... get over it. But I still prefer TAR.

We can not replicate any rank because:
- We are supposed to have centurion uniform, but they have different boots and gauntlets.
- Uhlan got different cheaper version of belt, can't replicate this either.

I tend to use the TNG Belts and Chestgear on the current TS Uniform. We may just have to use this until the uniform is updated. However, we must keep pressing the issue.

TNG chestgear is meh... Tried it for myself, but it looks crappy. Belt looks well for the male alternative. Also, noticed males don't have access to the Survivor Romulan gauntlets heh.

It's really screwed up, no question about it. The color palettes don't match across uniforms, or across factions, we have tons of missing pieces, color matching is random across different uniforms, genders, species, with no option to disable it. It's a mess.
They either need a team dedicated to fixing bugs, a BIG team, or they need an entire "season" to add things to, and fix existing issues with, the Tailor system.
Meh, I have watched at the options available at the foundry, Captain belt with sash looks nice. Beside this and another cheaper version of belt there are no other parts too.

heh, this thread feels like kicking a dead corpse.
The Republic may have won the civil war, and the Imperial remnants may be few and far between, but that does not mean there is not a market for the unifrom. It may be many months until we get anything of a response. However, we must let it be known that there is an empassioned portion of the player base that would love to have access to the entire uniform, not just gender divided accessories and a basic jumpsuit. Highlighting an issue like this one, especially one relating to the problem-riddled tailor, cannot be understated.
Might have to move thread to the Tribble forum. Devs post there at least. I think there are no dev posts in the romulan forum. They might not even know about the most undying romulan forum thread.lol

We can certainly have both. The Imperials on here can get the Romulan TS Uniform to satisfy them, and the Republicans can get the equally attractive Romulan Nemesis Uniform, which many Imperials like as well. Everybody wins!

You do know that the uniform from nemesis, was also used the the Romulan war saga on the TV series Enterprise!

Don't get me wrong, I do like all of their uniforms but, I wish for them to open options for the Tal Shiar uniforms specifically because well.........We are given Tal Shiar uniforms and, my own Fleet is name thusly.

I think it looks like tacky Vulcan casualwear. And I think the harness thingy on it looks much less attractive than the ones used in DS9 and TNG.
I think a lot more thought went into the TNG uniforms than people give them credit for. It seems to be pretty clearly based off of the sort of thing that used to be worn in feudal Japan. The checkers IMO seem to be evocative of the patterns one might see on Medieval padded armor, and the grey color & designs serve to give it a very severe, soviet-ish look to it. Call it funny if you want, but IMO the TNG uniform captured the essence of what the Romulans from that era came to be defined as very well: vainglorious, militant, and fascist.
That being said, the TNG uniform is bit unwieldy-it's hard to imagine a Romulan crawling into the Romulan-equivalent of a jeffereies tube without it getting caught on everything/catching on fire. It would work perfectly fine as a sort of ceremonial guard uniform/dress uniform IMO.
The DS9 uniform still manages to capture the aesthetics of the TNG uniform without seeming unwieldy, so it gets my vote as 'best Romulan uniform'. The Nemesis uniform is better than the TOS uniform, but that's about all I can say positively about it...It looks more like a Vulcan uniform to my eyes, not Romulan-far too casual looking.
