Loading Problem!!! Sitting on the "Star Trek Legacy of Romuls" screen

I have the game patched and after I click engage it go's to the next screen that ready in big letters Star Trek Legacy of Romulus and doesn't go any further??? Please someone who understands this problem HELP!!!

    I am a returning STO player. I started in March on the wineskin mac version. I have recently gotten a cheap Dell and have decided to start playing again. My game also freezes at the Romulus loading screen :/ I have waited for it to respond but eventually have to close it...I have Windows 8 btw

    OS 10.6.8 Wineskin 1.5.1 and 1.6 fresh installs
