Scheduled Maintenance (May 24, 2013) [Complete!]

Hi Captains,

We will be bringing down Star Trek Online tomorrow, Friday, May 24th, at 7AM PDT (click here to view in your timezone) for maintenance and to apply a new patch. Patch notes can be found here, and we expect this maintenance to only last for 2 hours. The test server may also be unavailable during this time.

UPDATE (5/24 @ 8:44AM PDT): Maintenance is going well, but we do need around 30 extra min. Our ETA for getting you back in-game is less than 1 hr from now.

    I thought that this thread was supposed to tell us about what
    the patch will do, not just that there will be a "new patch"?

    For example, will we be able to delete mail again after this patch?

    What about K'ghan and Ch'gren (1st and 2nd BOffs for new KDF characters) STILL looking 100% alike, i.e. being involuntary clones?! What about the auto-equipped Klingon disruptor for newly created KDFs being clipped by some other handgun model???

    Patch notes are linked above :) We're still working on a fix for why players are unable to delete mail.

    UTC is currently -1 to BST (GMT), so the link is correct :)

    Thanks for the cancel ability. It has been a needed thing.
    Let us wear Swimsuits on Foundry maps or bridges please! I would pay zen for that.

    Bran, i cant see in the patch note the problem in completing red alert missions, you know if it's being fixed? (good for omega marks)

    How about a update on the server not responding issue. Alot of mad people on this game.

    I neglected to check if market Building #4 on Minetrap is still buggy. Anyone got info on this? Also, thankee for the advance notice.

    Let me guess, ANOTHER 80-130 meg patch to add one tiny thing that should take one one hundredth that much of my bandwidth.

    This is becoming a disturbing new trend.

    But at least they are adding something long overdue and this is a good addition.

    All personal Reputation upgrade tasks in the Omega, Nukara and New Romulus repuations are now cancellable.

    Excellent! Guess I wasn't the only idiot who picked the wrong Cryo Launcher to turn in. :eek:

    What about the fact that I can't customize my starter ship because no matter what options I choose, including basic B'rel, it wants me to pay 750 Zen? Oh, unless I pick actual Zen options, then the total, goes up. That's just the base price for my free customization as a new Klingon captain.

    We are aware of this issue and are working on a resolution for it. We have top men on it (no, really, look!).

    Then I guess you have chipmunks working on the issue where people can not log on at all, glad to see the top men are working on costume issues!

    What about the the no Tier I Tau Dewa Transwarp,and Tier V Reman Unlock for Romulan Repuation?

    Fix the character select scene. My Bridge Officers are showing up as all the same person and some people have had their shuttles showing up instead of their ship. Its not a big deal, just a minor gripe.

    what about the insta banning for even mentioning the name of a certain gold spammer company? Or the returned items from the exchange just going poof, no item returned? Or targeting being screwed up? Or sound being screwed up? Or the other 10 million things that got broken with this lor launch.

    Please tell me they're working on the lack of transwarp to Tau Dewa on both servers please.

    And when someone says they've got top men on something you're supposed to repeat...TOP Men.

    Although that's not actually a reassuring phrase. Perhaps giving your word as a Klingon would be better. Or maybe as a Vulcan.

    I noticed the same issue on Tribble, I didn't realize it was on Holodeck too.

    Please fix that on Tribble as well. It's really weird and not just for my starter ship either.

    And on my main character (but not my alts) my starship is my first officer's legs. They're nice legs, but I'd like to see my starship. Especially weird when she's standing right next to my captain.
