sto files turning up as short cuts

so on my laptop after getting onto sto for the first time in three months i now have
short cut type direct links to errors, localdata, cryptic erros, dbghelp.dll they where all downloaded today at the same time from sto why are they showing up like that the only sto "link" is sto launcher question what do i do with them? just delete from the screen or this to forever be perment home ? dev?

    Only time I ever saw that it was a basic virus which was duplicating filenames onto a version of itself then hiding the original files. I would definitely suggest doing a virus/malware scan on your pc.
    Still waiting to be able to use forum titles
