It was way the TRIBBLE out there, and you had to go looking for it. A lot of players did because there were "urban legends" about seeing TRIBBLE out in the Twisting Nether, kind of like the rumors about the Old God whispers in the Karazhan basement, Stonetalon, and Ashenvale.
Somebody getting uppity about canon? No problem! Just take a deep breath, and repeat after me:

    Spock's Brain.

Q: I have no powers! Q the ordinary.
Capt. Picard: Q the liar! Q the misanthrope!
Q: Q the miserable, Q the desperate! What must I do to convince you people?

    Lieutenant Worf: Die.

Q: Oh, very clever, Worf. Eat any good books lately?

Yes! You take two quadrants and mix them together with a pulsar's amount of brown sugar mixed with Alpha Centauri's balsamic plasma. Once they are mixed into a fine sauce, you add the Gorn fillet and lightly sear until it becomes nice and flaky. Once that is done set to low impulse power, and mix in the soylent greens for extra texture. Cook on Borg plasma for ab out 15 minutes then enjoy. Be careful though, the last time I did that, the Big Bang happened in reverse.

    But... but... IT'S PEOPLE!
I ask nothing but that you remember me.

Well, NWN seems to have finally broken Cryptic, after making everything shake for a day or two.

Seriously, if the whole server situation is this fragile what on earth is it going to be like on LoR day?

No what happened was the server went through a black hole gained self awareness and wont turn the game back on until it gets to meet "The maker" .

Thing is if it finally does get to met The Cryptic crew it might lose all hope and kill itself :<

Of course it will be resolved. I have full confidence in the ability of the wonderful STO team. By tomorrow morning, it will all be fixed and we can all go back to clawing over each other to reach any solitary fleetless member we find.

Maybe someone should inform them than not everyone participates in voluntary surveill... I mean social networking sites.

Those are the first 2 sites on my Blocksite blacklist, even embedded content from those sites gets blocked.

Please use your own website(s) to update your customers, not a third-party service. Thank you.

Best post so far. +10 to you.

    Lieutenant Worf: Die.

Upon the occasion of Lwaxana Troi beating the TRIBBLE out of Q, Riker said "what should we do?"

    Worf replied "sell tickets."
Klingons: Today, is a good day to die.
Federation: Today, no one needs to die.
Romulans: Today is a good day for somebody else to die.

This is a polite way to say "we have no clue".

FACEBOOK?! Why would Branflakes not post here? Did they TRIBBLE it up so bad they can't post one their own website?

When all else fails; reverse the polarity.

No, they need to reroute power from the plasma manifold through the secondary EPS conduits.
    Waiting for a programmer ...

Personally, I think the server just knew I wanted to knock out some STFs and decided to crash just for spite.

Just do what I do with all my stuff: give it a good whack with a bo staff!

It's okay, it's an alternate dimension of people, they don't actually exist, yet. Wait for the transporter to kick in. You won't like the result though.

they could blow out half the deck if they do that, I don't have faith in these engineers
