im so confused, so you can get the ha'apax separated, with each half haveing totaly uniqe setups, or fly the hapax with the separation console, and fly ether half with the ha'apax statino setup, with basicly just different turn rates and power bonuses for each half? i mean its not like a seperated ship could just change station setups, theres no tech that could pull that off, that would be an ability tray and nightmare, not to mention you would want totaly differnt equipment, consoles and weapons.
so.... confused.... unable to check for a few more hours. and got to do the tutorial all over before i can even get to the flotilla, great. all that time wasted flying the sorties to get my d'deridex, now thats all gone :mad: i know that character was doomed, but i wnted to test endgame and give feedback on that. pretty fat chance on that now

Plenty of changes there. T'Varo gets a BoP console layout and lower hull, Dhelan is now the sciscort while Mogai is the engscort, D'Deridex gets a very interesting boff layout, Romulans get some choice of free ships at endgame, including a Sci ship.
Plus, everything besides the Dhelan and the Ha'nom (can't help but grin every time I see that) can use AtB.
Blast, now I'm totally spoilt for choice. The T'Varo was the one to go for, but now....it's basically a BoP with fixed boff stations and somewhat better hull.
the Dhelan can use an AtB build fine, with 2 LT eng. basically all of them can, except the 2 parts of the ha'apax. ships that can use doubled up AtB im happy with, and they all can just fine

Not only that, but the Deridex was unchanged. Romulans are easily, by a huge margin, the worst faction to be a Cruiser pilot in. I can start to see the reasons for the alliance system now.

The Ha'apax model is the combined models of the Support Vessel and the Escort Vessel.
The Ha'nom model is the Support Vessel model without the Escort Vessel.

The Haakona Advanced Warbird was designed based on stolen plans for the Prometheus, a powerful Federation escort. Utilizing these plans, the Romulan Star Empire was able to design their own version, merging the design of the D'deridex Warbird Battle Cruiser with advanced Federation technology.
The Haakona Advanced Warbird is equipped with a Romulan Battle Cloaking Device. This Cloaking device can be used in combat, but your weapon systems and shields are disabled while it is active.
This ship comes with a unversal Haakona Separation console. This console allows you to separate your Ha'apax into two separate ships. You can choose to pilot the Haakona Escort or Haakona Support Vessel.
Interesting to note, is it is no longer called Haakona Separation. It's Ha'apax Separation. Hrmmm, I need to update that...meh...oh well.
Still, the Haakona refers to them as the Haakona Escort and Haakona Support Vessel.
Thus, it is entirely possible that those models being used for the Ha'nom and Ha'feh are simply placeholders...or it could be a case that the Ha'nom and Ha'feh are more advanced versions of those vessels that form Voltron...er...the Ha'apax.
In my post, it was mainly a case of pointing out that the Ha'nom and Ha'feh have the two models that combine to form the Ha'apax...can be seen either at the Ship Vendor or in the image Prax linked in the other thread.
I think I'll ask Archon about it in the feedback thread though...
I'd bet they are just using the models as placeholders, since it seems strange that the same 'piece' has completely different stats in different circumstances.
In any case, the Ha'feh doesn't look too bad stats-wise.

Well, we've got Refits/Retrofits/Mirror Universe/Fleet variants of ships out there that use the "same" model with different stats...so, it could be something akin to that. I went ahead and asked Archon in the feedback thread though.
Probably wishful thinking on my part. Ah, well - they look ok. (pics on Reddit.) More warbird model are always welcome, however.

The Romulan where the only thing holding me hear now after the new ship changes and the Boff layout there is nothing new or exciting anymore, you sucked the air out of the room again cryptic.

New ships are not selling because they are made into terrible cookie cutter builds with bad Bo and console set ups nothing unique. im not understanding the issues people have with the mogai and dhelan. you can pretty much have what you had on the mogai before, on the dahlan, and it can have 5 tac consoles and turns even beter. the mogai can still have 3 sci powers really easily, you could even use EPtW3 on it too.

This ship comes with a unversal Haakona Separation console. This console allows you to separate your Ha'apax into two separate ships. You can choose to pilot the Haakona Escort or Haakona Support Vessel.
Interesting to note, is it is no longer called Haakona Separation. It's Ha'apax Separation. Hrmmm, I need to update that...meh...oh well.
Still, the Haakona refers to them as the Haakona Escort and Haakona Support Vessel.
Thus, it is entirely possible that those models being used for the Ha'nom and Ha'feh are simply placeholders...or it could be a case that the Ha'nom and Ha'feh are more advanced versions of those vessels that form Voltron...er...the Ha'apax.
In my post, it was mainly a case of pointing out that the Ha'nom and Ha'feh have the two models that combine to form the Ha'apax...can be seen either at the Ship Vendor or in the image Prax linked in the other thread.
I think I'll ask Archon about it in the feedback thread though...
In any case, the Ha'feh doesn't look too bad stats-wise.

What are u all thinking u made 2 great ship layout absolute TRIBBLE. Thank the man upstairs I did not buy the legacy pack yet.
The Romulan where the only thing holding me hear now after the new ship changes and the Boff layout there is nothing new or exciting anymore, you sucked the air out of the room again cryptic.

Geko stated in a interview earlier a while back wondering why c store ships are not selling as much as they thought. New ships are not selling because they are made into terrible cookie cutter builds with bad Bo and console set ups nothing unique. T'varo, mogai where nice new ship both just a little different now ruined. D'deridex Warbird a icon like the galaxy, ruined just like the galaxy. Who is running this game that's the last straw, after 3 years I am fed up with this BS finally. No more money for u cryptic and you wonder why the legacy pack fails.

I was looking forward to playing Rommie Sci. Now not so much.
theres the end game sci ship now, with 10 turn. its got a COM and LTC sci, and can even use DHCs
the dhelan has the LTC sci, and even better turn then the mogai. sci is in a better place post patch
And has yet to be seen! Dont sell your skin and that jazz you know...

check the dev tracker today, anchors talking about more changes for the d'deridex. no comander eng? thats a bit of a stretch. hes proposing a COM eng, LTC tac, LTC sci, ENS tac, ENS uni. i'd really like it to have 2 LT level eng stations line up though, for TECHnical reasons...

My dream setup would be Com. Sci, Lt.C Tact, Lt.C Eng and an ensign uni station would be haxcellent. But thats what it is: Just a dream.
Else the proposed change would be better, IF they set it as Com. eng, Lt.C tac, Lt.C Sci and a Lt. uni.
