Closed beta tester who lost all his forum information.

Hello there!.

I am a lifetime subscriber and have been a member of the Star Trek Online community since before the launch. I first joined the community on October 2009 and was then known as Ruivo (which is also my in-game handle, as confirmed by the launcher [It says Welcome Ruivo on the top]).

But when i log into my account, it says my username is ruivoml1 and that i joined in september of 2012. I am aware that Cryptic was bought by PWE and that all the accounts were linked, but i was informed that no account information was going to be affected.


It is not my wish to sound entitled, but after coming back to STO from a 5 years absense i find myself with an username i hadn't picked, cannot change, 2 posts and no forum perks at all?


Thanks in advance for any help that can be provided regarding those issues!

EDIT: I did an user search for anyone named "Ruivo" and no user with such name was found. So if my "PW Account" can be renamed to my old username i would appreciate it a lot.

I did had what i believe to be over 3k posts, but in the old forums there was no post counts and we didn't cared about such feature. And as such it makes no diference to me, so there's no need to "up" my post count.

This has happened to many a old timer on the Forums. The Forum software that PWE uses have different account name restrictions then the Forum software that Cryptic was using. When accounts were merged from Cryptic and transfered to the PWE servers, many forum account names were forced to change (mine was originally 'Grouchy.Otaku'...) and older posts from account names that are no longer supported was changed to 'Archived Post'....
