Photonic ships in Crystalline Catastrophy attacking allies!

Something I noticed last night in the CE event, from both sides. Firstly, I was playing a Fed Science character and used the Photonic Fleet ability, which brings in a number of photonic starships as re-enforcements. Everything seemed to be fine, but then I noticed that one of the holo-cruisers had targeted a KDF player on the team and was firing on him! Later I played the event as my KDF character, and after the Crystalline Entity had been destroyed, all the photonic ships the Fed players had summoned turned on me, and I had to fight them off!

I had a KDF Photo Fleet turn on my Fed after the CE was destroyed as well.

I see this a lot when owner leaves and the pet stays. AFAIK, pets revert to default flagging when the owner leaves the area. I've never seen it happen while the owner was still around. I suppose its possible but I dont know what the conditions are.

and where's bug in that? they simply do their jobs - a federation-emipre war, remember ;-)

After the owner leaves they definitely revert to default... I usually stick around to kill them. They drop loot too.

Mirror ships appear in CC (assuming from Tyken's Rift) and those can be mistaken for pets.

I do however think that cross faction attacks are actually happening during the event. I think I noticed it happening but can't say with 100% certainty.

Actually the mirror ships come from Tholian warp core breaches.... Each time one of the larger Tholian ships explodes it has a chance to open a portal to the mirror universe.
