STO is about my Liberated Borg Federation Captain with his Breen 1st Officer, Jem'Hadar Tactical Officer, Liberated Borg Engineering Officer, Android Ops Officer, Photonic Science Officer, Gorn Science Officer, and Reman Medical Officer jumping into their Jem'Hadar Carrier and flying off to do missions for the new Romulan Empire. But for some players allowing a T5 Connie to be used breaks the canon in the game.

on the other hand, spoilers may ruin the surprise on holodeck
Yeah. That's why I never test on Tribble any more. I'd rather play it on Holodeck and just have fun with it.

If I were taking a wild guess I'd assume pre-order people are getting in first. That's the way most MMOs tend to handle closed testing.

Definitely looking forward to Legacy of Romulus, although I'll have to use dil to get Zen for my D'Deridex Refit. Would love to be a part of the Beta, but I figure it won't happen.

Considering I got in, I don't think it is Frequency. Although I have played a lot recently, in general I haven't played on tribble much. I wasn't even part of the game until after F2P and only really "tested" (and by tested I mean played for an hour and got my tribble reward) season 6. I totally missed season 7 so other then leveling one character to 20, then rolling a new character to 38. I haven't really done much testing and few of it was useful.
I think we all are hoping for the chance to get to test the new episodes and the Romulans.

So obviously, I want a closed beta invite as much as the next guy (or gal) in this game. Within the people in my fleet that I know of, at least 3-4 had beta invites and we were trying to compare data on what each of them had done versus those of us who did not get beta invites. We think that we were able to rule out legacy pack order, amount of tribble testing (I had more time testing than any of them), join date (I had beta'd the game before it went live), amount of money spent on the game, Life Time Subscription (the ones with invites were a mix of LTS and non-LTS/non-subscribers), and participation in Tribble testing before (some of the ones with invites had not tested any of the seasons on their account). Now it just remains, what are they actually giving out invites based on...

If you are refering to the just release Starter and Legacy packs, I can say that was most likely not a factor, as I have yet to spend a dime on those.
