tripple postings!! yeah way to go to get attention!
short answer...never gonna happen. The jemmys are available if you have enough EC. Those pets are specifically a gift for people that got the jemmy fighter. period.
In order to have the Jem Hadar Attack ship pets for the Jem Hadar Dread you must have the Jem Hadar Attack ship. End of story. No amount of crying on the forums is going to make cryptic give you something you havent purchased or earned just beacuse "YOU" want it. Hell, I want a Chimara but i'm not a lifetime member so I cant have it. I can go on the Forums and cry and rant till the end of time but that doesnt mean they will give me one without paying for one.
Hell, I want a Chimara but i'm not a lifetime member so I cant have it.
That's an incorrect parallel. The Chimaera is a reward unto itself. You buy lifetime, you get a fancy ship. The attack ship pets on the other hand are a unique, non-transferable component of the Dreadnaught which is not unlocked by owning the Dreadnaught. The correct parallel is that you buy LTS to get a Chimaera, but then in order to get feature where it can change modes, you then have to also buy a subscription to Neverwinter.
They will not change it. If they went back on the current prerequisite for the JHAS hangar pet it would cause huge backlash from the players that spent real money to get the JHAS ship. Changing it would cause way more problems and outrage than the few Dread owners that don't have the pets crying " But, but, I want it. You have to give it to me beacuse I want it" Just beacuse you want something that you havent earned dosent mean your going to get it.

You buy a JHAS you get a Hangar pet for your Dreadnought. You buy a Lifetime you get a Chimera. Seem like a acceptable parallel to me.

Not quite. The acceptable parallel is:
You buy a Dreadnaught, and you get a feature-reduced ship (dreadnaught without unique pets)
You buy Lifetime, and you get a feature-reduced ship (chimaera without mode-change console)
You buy a Bug and you get the feature that was missing from your Dreadnaught (attack ships).
You buy a Neverwinter subscription and you get the feature that was missing from your Chimaera (mode change).
It's also worth pointing out that the Atrox, Recluse, Marauder, Corsair, Dacoit, and Kar'fi all come with unique pets, and that simply owning the ship is enough to unlock the ability to buy its unique pets. Especially interesting is the Recluse, which is a Lobi ship just like the Jem Dreadnaught.

not really missing...the dreadnought has it's ships...those bug ships are just a cherry ontop for people that own already the the bug ship...not the other way around.
Your point would be valid if the dreadnought carrier came without any hangar pets...AND the only useable ones where obtainable only via buying or having a bug ship. Then the word "MISSING" would apply.
People will get mad when you hand out the jhas pets to everyone?
Well then do not. Hand out equivalent pets.
Hey here's a kicker: let us dirty, unwashed masses who do not have a JHAS launch escort carriers instead. If you also own the escort carrier, the carriers then will launch fighters of their own as a bonus.
If you do not own the escort carrier you just get a good attack ship equivalent.
See? easy fix.
Or just mashup another dominion ship and make it an equivalent to the jhas available to all dread owners....
they could just make JHAS req account wide. And that means if i own jhas on my tac i would have rights to purchase those pets with my eng who has the jem dread(well it wasn't last time i checked.)
Because idk why devs keep forgeting/ignoring the fact most of us have more then 1 toon and more then 1 jem dread.
I am also pissed in 1st place why did they make such silly decision in place to make jhas req for those pets since jhas is very rare(comes in doff packs every half year or so lol,and at exchange it costs over 300kk if not even 400kk just so i could use the pets that should be avaible as soon u buy the jem dread.)Only reason i can think of making this req was to make more money.Which was a failure since most of players just went elite scorpions.lol
And since canon is more then gone.It dosn't matter to me which pet will i personaly use.
So they should make changes. But even if they don't there is plenty of elite fighters who do nicely anyways.

Actually your both wrong, but momaw is closest to being right. The feature of the dreadnaught is the console it has, and arguably the additional weapon slot. An added bonus to purchase it for those whom already have carriers, is the ability to get a 'faction' specific fighter for it. I won't try to justify the owning a Jem Hadar fighter part though.

The game really needs to focus less on Carriers, IMO. We're playing Star Trek not Battlestar Galactica. I shouldn't be watching videos of Carriers soloing STFs. Not in a Star Trek game.
STO is about my Liberated Borg Federation Captain with his Breen 1st Officer, Jem'Hadar Tactical Officer, Liberated Borg Engineering Officer, Android Ops Officer, Photonic Science Officer, Gorn Science Officer, and Reman Medical Officer jumping into their Jem'Hadar Carrier and flying off to do missions for the new Romulan Empire. But for some players allowing a T5 Connie to be used breaks the canon in the game.

Escorts outsell everything else in this game. Cryptic does more for escorts.

Escorts don't do anything. Many people use escorts because the STFS are DPScentric and the players are in a hurry to get them done. If you take STFS out of the equation there's just as many Cruiser and Sci players as there are Escorts. And someday Cryptic will get rid of Gozer's "DPS is King" STFs and all we be well.

The Bortasqu' can solo STFs, only difference is you don't have much control of its carrier pet. XD
But seriously though, to the thread, if you want a real battleship, grab the Bort. It's much funner with its decloak alpha.
But that said, the Dread is a great ship. But with JHAS, it would out perform the Bortasqu', but without the JHAS, it doesn't stand a chance. :P
IME the best ships to use are the Orion Slavers, and Tachyon Drones.
What I still don't get is why a hangar pet that's inferior to some existing ones was restricted to people who have what is arguably the best escort available. Fer'Jai are stupidly OP compared to bugship pets, and Scorpions are just plain stupidly OP, moreso when you compare the advanced/elite versions. But we'll skip the Fer'Jai since those are KDF only, and Fed characters can have a JHDC too.
Either way it's just not worth spending several hundred million EC to get a bugship to throw in mothball for the sole purpose of being able to spend 35k dilithium to have the advanced hangar pets when they're outperformed by Scorpions from the Romulan rep system. It'll cost you around 3-4 mil to grind your way up to T5, and then 40k dil to get the elite Scorpions. There's just no comparison. Especially since if you want the elite bugship hangar pets you need T5 science on your Starbase, and from what I hear even those are outperformed by the elite Scorpions.

Ever since the AI fix, the Jem'hadar Attack Ship pets are not inferior to anything. They might seem inferior to Fer'Jai, but that's only because the Fer'Jai have a significantly longer launch timer. Believe me, I tested them. It's not close... especially when you consider the raw firepower and staying power advantage of the Dreadnaught over the Kar'fi.
The elite scorpions are the closest without resorting to the Fleet Elite pets that I haven't tested yet(I'm KDF), but they still aren't on the same level.
This isn't just speculation either, the Jem'hadar ships parse higher than anything else, some 1-3k DPS more than elite Scorpions depending on the situation, and that's not even counting the anti-proton sweeps that don't show up on a parser, that can wipe out an entire group of ships shields.
The elite scorpions come in second and perform about equal against non-shielded structures(like Gates), but they are significantly worse against shielded enemies and packs of ships.
And this is just the advanced version of them, I don't have the elite version yet.
i really wish the ship i paid 800 lobi for can have frigates..
its not fair to be stuck with crappy fighters..

Don't think so unless you include the words "years from now",

"people WANT to pay 800 Lobi for this ship"
No-one is making anyone do anything.
Sig by my better half.
Bad example: original tos rom bop frigate that can go on atrox, recluse, dread, karfi, voq.

Its a star trek themed park ride.

I don't know about that. The elite JHAS pets are pretty good.
CRUISERS NEED A 206% HULL BUFF
If you don't have JHAS, then it's slavers and tachyon drones.
Only time so far my Bort has lost to a Dread, was via the JHAS he deployed against me.
JHAS on Dread is ridiculously OP.
Actually elite scorpions.
Also, you sound ridiculous when you say the only time someone beat you in the dread was because they were ridiculously OP.
You haven't heard half the stuff he's said then. Ask him about his 10k dps Bort deployable Hoh'sus.
CommanderDonatra@Capt.Sisko: ahhh is it supposed to do that?
Norvo Tigan@dontdrunkimshoot: hell ya, maybe
is this that guy??? oh that was a fun filled disscussion
