    my patcher wont even load up to login page im from the UK as well 1st started playing up after last weeks patch with game crashs when on DS9 or fleet base i verfed files 8-9 times this week. so today i download new launcher now it does not even connect to server NEW LAUNCHER DOES NOT WORK FOR ME ON WINDOWS 7 normaly u can still get to the login page when server is down but it wont even do that

    Ok so we are back to not being able to connect to cryptic patch servers in the UK.

    Do I really have to go get another proxy just to play?

    Same issue here... its trying to update the launcher, tries twice then says it cannot establish a connection to the patch server and quits

    Mine wont patch either, I have downloaded the launcher from the thread that has the link to the launcher exe file. I guess I am not playing STO today.

    I was in game before the patch, had no problems. Now when I click on the game launcher it says it is unable to connect to the updater. Got on teamspeak with some friends and they tried to log in, but they are having the same problem. I deleted my shortcut and tried to launch from the game files...same problem.

    Someone broke something....

    I'm also having the issue. It tells me it's unable to establish a connection with the patch server. Doesn't matter if I download the updater manually or not. Neverwinter is also having the same problem when I try to run that. :rolleyes:

    As far as I know, the last scheduled tribble patch/maint period was yesterday.
    I was actually on it when I was DC'd with server not responding timers, when I tried relogging the client CTD. I tried getting back on only to find that the launcher didn't want to play :P

    I've never had the launcher do this to me before in my year of playing sto. Guess it's just the servers telling me to go and do some work? :D

    Something is really fubar with the launcher. I tried the one I allready had and it tried to update the launcher, but failed after 3 attempts.

    Tried the other solution of manually DL the launcher, but it still does the same thing...

    What the heck is wrong Cryptic??

    Hey, I did this but my icon is simply a .url and the only thing is links to is steam://rungameid/9900. I play through steam, so I guess this might be different? In any case it's good to know I'm not the only one experiencing this problem.

    same issue here even hard restarted my router, DL'd the new luancher, and even reset my IP address

    it does this on all 3 computers i have sto on my internet works fine as i am able to play other games

    Having the same issue. It's not able to update the launcher. I downloaded the supposedly current file manually from the update thread and swapped it, and that one is still trying, and failing, to update.

    Sounds as if the patch server has died. It seems to be affecting nwn as well.
    I'm also seeing a lot of people from the UK suffering from this.

    Apparently maintenance has been extended by another 2 hours and the patch server was taken down deliberately, which is very unusual for maintenance periods. Apparently they're making big changes to network infrastructure.

    oh noes, I cant start the launcher whilst the game servers are down for maintenance and patch ITS THE END OF THE WORLD

    Servers are down, why complain about launcher not firing up when you cant even play anyway.

    Because tribble maintenance is done on a different schedule, meaning tribble is up when holodeck goes down for maint ;)

    The patchclient got a message while it was in a state with no response function....


    Can't even open it >.< no I haven't read the entire forum, got bored after searching for the past half hour, no actual useful info so far

    On website the server is shown up, but my launcher says:

    "Connection Problem
    Unable to establish connection to Patch Server. Please check your Internet connection. If problems persist, please contact Technical Support.    "

    And i try it every 15 Min. since 5pm GMT+1 (5 hours to now).
