Be aware - the Kumari seems to have a built in nerf to all healing abilities.
All HP and Shield healing skills I was using up until now work at 1/3 of their original strength. HE2 on my previous escort healed about ~12 HP over 15 sec, yet on Kumari the same HE2 with the same skills heals only ~4k over 15 sec. The same goes for EPtS. Other person I know who also bought the ship reports the same issue.
Well, the quality of the special abilites makes it easy to drop the wing cannons and go for a better damage type. All of them quite underwhelming.
Guess I stick to my plan for plasma weapons. Ship looks good, but I guess I'll switch back to fleet Prometheus/fleet Defiant and use the Kumari just for solo PvE.
And lol at Mk XI TRIBBLE phasers for 24k dil.
Looks like I'll be using my Breen Chel Gret and Mobius a bit longer in light of this news. I hope they perform a quick hotfix as opposed to making us wait weeks for the bug repair.
By the way, is there any difference in appearance between the 3 versions other than color? Any swapable parts?

The console abilities ( Phaser Dispersal and Tachyon ) are either bugged, or working as intended, sharing the sAME GCD as your regular boff cannon abilities.
Use either console abilities, your c:sv or C:rf goes to 15 sec GCD. Makes having those abilities on your hotbar pretty useless.
If this is working as intended, then Gal-X spinal lance should trigger all beam abilities. :P Etc etc.
EDIT: On a side note. Weapon Platform movements and attacks remind me of Funnels on mobile suit gundam newtype suits. >_>

The Vesta's Quantum Focus Phaser and the Bortasqu' Disruptor Auto Cannon both do not share coolowns with boff abilities, tho.

No, the person you're quoting is talking about ship customization. As in the appearance. Not the use of consoles. Just the swappable parts on making it look a certain way.
They need to do something with the console, either reduce the CD or increase the damage. With it sharing with other cannon abilities it not gaining any damage output, more of a case of loosing out. CR3 does more damage. When you activate it, it takes your other cannons offline and then you have to wait 4 secs to charge. By then your targets shields are back online and you miss the chance to do the damage it should do.
I do not feel sorry for people who rushed into buying this pack without thinking it through, or waiting for teething problems to be ironed out. They usually have more money than sense.

I don't feel sorry for them (us) either. There's no reason to be upset. It's not like the price will ever be lower so there is no penalty for jumping in early.
If no one had purchased the ship, it would have never been fixed. Which, I guess, wouldn't matter since no one would own the broken ship anyway. We have a chicken/egg situation - abort!

I was dueling my fleet mate's excelsior at full shields + hull. Borg tractor beam + Cannon Overload + Beam Overload 3 + HYT3 quantums = dead target. My fleet mate words over vent: "WTF was that???"
If your talking about the shield scaling and hull healing issues, they've already been fixed just download the latest patch.
So last night, with the bugs, my charal was playable but I had to be really careful.
Today with the bugs fixed, my charal is tons o' fun. I'm thinking of naming my BOFF crew Dylan, Dylan, Dylan, Dylan and Dylan. Because this ship spits hot fire!

Listen it's hard to focus when you have to keep track of all the DMG modifiers you need to sprinkle all over the universe.
It's equally difficult to verify code when recovering from post-lunch food coma...

Actually, 3 pc. set benefits for the Wing Cannon Weapon Platforms, the wing cannons attached to your ships benefit regardless.
