still STUCK with 2012 winter fleet event

I was told how much my feedback was valued by Cryptic.

I was told STO is a dynamic and evolving community.

I was told if I had further concerns I could take them to the Forum.

So here I am!

Is anybody else out there still stuck with the winter fleet event? Even if I had the 100's of millions of ECs (I do not), there are not even enough winter baubles on the market to finish the event.

So PLEASE Cryptic, keep your word and give us a way to be rid of this impediment. You told us we would have a way to dump the project "near the end or shortly after the winter event", and to "rest assured our fleets would not be stuck with this project."

I would very much like to see the ferasan staff in my fleets base, but as it stand this is currently impossible. Please Devs, live up to your word and resolve this problem.

You can also buy some christmas commodities on the exchange. It's rather cheap. I know it's not what you expect but it's the only workaround.

Now Cryptic never promised that you'd be able to dump a project. They only promised a means to purchase supplies needed to finish the project after the Winter Event was over...

Can you PM me with how much you are short? I know some of my fleeties still have bells and other assorted garbage and we have some in our fleet bank we could give you

This is why reading release notes will save you alot of trouble.

If you had, you would have saved yourself the trouble of writing the post, AND have finished the project by now.

Here's a hint:

this was the worst project anyway....

the OFF button DOES NOT STAY OFF!
load map / instance a few minutes later = Breen ship and huge glowing 2012 sign (not even 2409!!! there goes the immersion)... sigh

KILL IT WITH FIRE!


...anyway i still got a few hundred of the white winter stuff banked away for next year, maybe 10 green... they didn't sell on exchange so i mailed them to myself... if anybody wants em, just say so.
