Season 7 launching issues?

After installing Season 7 of STO, I have not been able to log into STO, i get the launcher and it pops up and goes through the cryptic screen, I would give you the error message but when it came up the first time it said i should force verify my files so I closed it and went to try to go do that but when i opened up the launcher and logged in it just sits there and says its patching, but it doesn't do anything because when i first logged on it gave me the recent patch and then logged me on but then crashed but now i cant even get past the launcher! What is going on! And i am running it through Steam, i heard that it might be an issue lately and no i haven't re installed it because that's going to take years to do!

    I do not use Steam for STO but am having this issue. The game was fine this afternoon but I cannot login due to the crash after Engage. Only Cryptic could cause more problems through maintenance than get fixed.
