    YAY, no shops in the UK...
    Join date is wrong, I've actually been around since STO Beta.
    True alters don't have a "main". Account wide unlocks for all unique event rewards!!

    Are these the normal PWE cards or a special multi-company card. I want to make sure I purchase the right one.

    Only got "fastcard" in Hawaii... both at Gamestop and Walmart.. guess I lose out this time..

    First off PWE does not sell the cards(Might not be right),Sec off it could be where you live have some kind of law against them(don' about other per payed cards ).

    You should tell your BestBuy/GameStop/Wal-Mart or what ever sells this kind of cards to stock up on them.

    Don't get TRIBBLE off with PWE just because you can't buy them where you live.

    just coz u can get em and the 15% and coz of that the 15% its unfair 2 the ppl who can't buy em should be make for ALL who play sto...

    You guys don't have game cards in the UK? Heck, I thought prepaid cards were all the rage over there. From what I understand, you can get prepaid cards for everything from cell phones to public toilets in England. Shocking that you can't get prepaid game cards as well.

    Some prepaid cards exist, for games like LOTRO and SWTOR and WOW, and Facebook gamecards are now doing the rounds as well, but none for PWE products that I've seen, which is a pity, 'cos they might make a lot of profit if they do sell in the UK or other European countries.

    I suppose they have to factor in the costs of production and shipping, must be too prohibitive

    If you read on the back of a lot of prepaid cards (from most any provider, not just PWE), it says "powered by FastCard". UGC cards say "Ultimate Game Card" on the front and are usually red.

    Not sure if GameStop carries them, I know CVS does. Walmart usually does but your store may not.

    As for "the world is a lot bigger than the United States", I'm sure the folks over at Ultimate Game Card are aware of that, but UGC may not be available in your area. The reason for the promo is that they're paying PWE extra money to cover the cost of the bonus ZEN. (Yes, I'm aware that ZEN has no inherent cash value per se, but do you really think that PWE is gonna just give free ZEN without getting something for it?)

    FYI: Just checked the billing options page. UGC is only available in the US and Canada. Same holds true for PWE prepaid cards. PWE doesn't usually have promos for prepaid cards, though--and it's likely for that reason.

    Another promotion that's US exclusive....

    You should try to find a promotion that includes the EU aswell next time.

    I have seen some STO time cards in some GS shops, but those have all been in Oslo, the capital city of Norway.

    Here's hoping we can get a promotion like this that includes EU next time round...

    That's the fault of the provider of the cards, not PWE. UGC only makes their product available in the US and Canada (at least that's per the billing options site).

    Ok, it appears that my local Giant Eagle has both $10 and $25 Ultimate Game cards. Since I get $0.10 off fuel for every $25 in gift cards, I bought the $25 one. I log into my account and choose Ultimate Game card as the prepaid option for purchasing Zen. I only get a $20 and aa $30 option.

    No $25.00 :(

    Hey Mattmiracle,

    I checked in with the billing team -- redeem it as $20, and again as $5. I *think* the $25 cards may be an older type of card, but are still redeemable through this method.

    Thanks Brandon. I didn't want to try that until I had some confirmation.

    If they are older, then my Giant Eagle must not sell that many of them. They had a full stack of the $25 :) At least now I can double dip for a while.

    Small problem though. I got the 300 Zen extra for the $20 but I didnt get any for the remaining $5. Somehow, the 75 Zen bonus didn't get associated with the remaining purchase. :(

    I checked in with the billing team and they said to contact them so they can investigate why that would have happened. File a billing ticket here: support.perfectworld.com ('contact us' tab, choose "billing" as category)

    Ok, glad someone else asked this already. I also was buying gift cards (mostly for restuarants) at my local Kroger's because they are offering extra reward points to use for gas discounts. They also had the $25 one so i went for it. I will try this as well, and see what happens.


    The local gamestop only had the $20 one, Kroger's had a $25. hmm. you just never know.

    hmm dont think perfect world wonts money off us in euro zone other wise there would bring out prepaid cards for us by now
