Trying to Update Launcher

Every time i launch Sto *on steam or on my computer* It comes up with "Trying to Update Launcher Please Be Patient then after about 1 min of this and error comes up

" The patchclient got a message while it was in state with no response function"

iv turned off my firewall and iv tried sto on another computer on the same internet and it works but it doesn't on this computer??

can someone please help me?

    I rebooted my cpu and it finally worked.
