IMO if they do make the Jupiter and Typhoon Playable, they should:
1. Redo the Jupiter (make it look a little bit more Trek than something imagined by someone that's kinda into trek.
2. Reskin the Typhoon make it more inline with the newer ships that are coming out now.
3. Move both the Galaxy-X, Odyssey and Vesta up to T6 with the proper buffs (While making sure the escort guys get a c-store ship pack that's inline with these ships. The Chimera would have worked but they made it a vetran reward instead.
I wouldn't fly either of these ships, but I would love to see them added as options. The Juptier especially. It would make a great Fed carrier that is actually styled Fed.

In my opinion, the boff layout you've posted doesn't seem to fit in with the other STO ships. Klingon battle cruisers, such as the Negh'Var, have a lieutenant sci. Since having a lieutenant sci would interfere a bit with the Typhoon being just tac/eng ship (with hardly any sci), you could just remove the ensign sci and place an ensign universal instead. That would allow for a completely tac/eng ship, or for a ship with a single sci boff power. That would be similar to the Aquarius, but it different enough to be battleship instead of a destroyer. Just my opinion, but I think that would work. :cool:

I could see these as T5 "Command ships" since with the admiral system i heard they were thinking about having some of your other ships become space BOFF's basically, NPC ships that will help you out like your BOFF's do on the ground.
Would be cool though, having carriers, escorts sci ships and cruisers all active at the same time, or even your lockbox ships, since its hard to show off your collection of ships when many of them are stuck in drydock until you pull them out.
They do need to make it to where you can command the Typhoon-class..........seeing it in the SB234 System along with the U.S.S. Renown makes me think "Damn, that'd be a nice ship to fly around" It was a Refit of the Majestic, according to STO wiki, so why not put that as a Refit on the ZEN store like the Regent-class?

The Typhoon is not a Assault Cruiser refit of any sort, it is about twice the volume of them and 200 metres longer, the only ship the Typhoon is comparable to is the Odyssey.

I also fixed the STOwiki article to remove that reference to the Majestic. I guess it came from the fact that the saucer and nacelle pylons are very similar.

I also fixed the STOwiki article to remove that reference to the Majestic. I guess it came from the fact that the saucer and nacelle pylons are very similar.
