    Snip...

Yeah, if they do new SWs films like they did Avengers it'll be awesome.

    ...Snip

Sure they can, all they need to do is have Joss Whedon involved. That man has serious skills in my opinion.

Him helming the new Star Wars = WIN!

Ya, a 4 billion dollar gold watch... poor guy...

Hope he has hobbies, retirement can be boring. I hear stamp collecting is fun.

Right I don't feel sorry for poor old Lucas lol. I am just glad it's in the hands of a company, that WILL put the name to good use. But we need good writers to go with that director too. I am hoping we get a ton of great stories to put on film. Nevermind the books that are out now, lets more this timeline about 100 years later hehe. Make some new stories witht he same two droids part of that story too.

Come on guys, Mark Hamil isn't to old to play Luke. They can make this years later after Episode 6, and Mark can play an old Jedi Master Luck Skywalker. So how is it he can't play a role in the new Star Wars film that is planned. I say it can and should work.

You might be right about that:
Episode VII would begin roughly 20 (or perhaps 30 or 40) years after the end of Return of the Jedi (according to Lucas in 1980 and 1982).[6][7]

I certainly hope so because a SW JJ-Trek-esque Reboot with all new actors doesn't sound good to me.

I was reading the article and read that Disney wants to do more Star Wars movies. I am hoping that Disney puts feelers out to the fans to see what direction the movies should go. For example, take the storyline out past Return of the Jedi. I think the past (Clone Wars) has been done enough.
