i suggest more "oblivion in space"

you go toi a planet on whateve mision and instead of like a reward of a consoloe or beam (its like, oh, gee, thanks, how about the beam BEFORE you send me off to like blow up)

    - instead you may a cxhance to ecxplore and find like a space helmet or wierd alien tech that turns your ship orange or somethng

it can't be that hard, i mean , put a wired thing on a planet

or in some space sector in stead of "radiotion particle that you need 50 of to build somethng worthless"

    oblivion in space, babe'

Nah, I can understand where he's coming from. It's not that nice to go "Oh here's this thing I can do" Game: "$20 please." I can more than understand why that's frustrating. (Dragon Age 2 I am oh-so-totally looking at you )

So I wouldn't fault him for that. But I wonder if this is the only way we could get some stuff that we want. Full KDF for instance.... :(

Thats the thing. What really scares me is that our new chinese overlords may take us in that direction. Dont miss understand me i am no advocate of that. My point was that going in that direction is very possible

You can look forward to basic, quickly put-together, simple missions. But you also can look forward to lots of new junk in the c-store.

Well said. Cryptic can't or won't do anything great anymore.. They will release "cool" stuff for C-Store and medircore to unsatisfying content. That is how F2P games work. All ideas for great and epic storylines died the day PW took over Cryptic. C-Store is the business of the day and everything elese comes after tons of profit for PW.

What people don't understand is that Perfect World International is the Chinese based company, Perfect World Entertainment is an American based company. Not only that, but the relationship between Cryptic and PWE is more like the relationship between ZeniMax Media and Bethesda. (ZeniMax owns id Software and Arkane Studios as well)

A lot of people don't even know that Bethesda is owned by a separate company, and I don't think we would notice Cryptic being owned by PWE if it weren't for the fact that PWE just loves to have it's name everywhere. A lot of the changes to STO have been as a result of going free to play, not because of anything PWE says.

At ease Rayven, our Evil Chinese Overlords probably have very, very, very little say in this game.

Also, keep in mind that "paid expansions" are a very American development/evil.

actually for video games anyway they are more of an Asian thing as they were the first ones doing it in the 80s... the US just did what any Capitalist would do... see something make profit so steal the idea

Ah... no... Atari was the one that started that. A very western company.

Whether a pain expansion happens or not, doesn't really matter. It's probably best it doesn't, but could bring some good things if it does. I still want something to get pumped up about! Season 7 is just rumours, it's hard to get excited about those. :(
