I have wrote to Perfect World for help but seems they can not understand my issue.
I was away from game for about 2 months, I came back to the game and noticed one of my characters had his bank almost empty and energy credits and Dilithium almost gone. Now i checked my other characters and they were fine.
I sent a ticket after a few days they said they would roll back my character to an earlier time (2 months) well needless to say they did a crappy job, what I didn't loose before I did after they "tried" to fix the issue.
My concern is my character is Admiral (50) and it took me 2 yrs to get him to where i wanted him and everything I saved is gone. I still have all the ships but gear etc gone.
I do not consider this to be a hack job because I figure they would take everything from all characters not just one.
The day i came back though and logged into the character I got a login duplicate error which i also told the GM in my ticket.
My computer is HP 6 gigs, 750 gig HD. everything with the game works so not sure what happened and it seems either does cryptic or PW.
Any ideas would be helpful......
John
It sounds like you got TRIBBLE. It's the only reason I can think of that you would get a duplicate login error. Just consider yourself lucky they didn't clean out all your toons.
Why didn't they? No idea.
It doesn't matter what the specs of your machine are. All the character data is on Cryptic's servers. As far as I know it's virtually impossible it's a client-side issue.
As far as the rollback not working well. They probably did the best they could, but 2 months is quite a while. I'd be angry too. Not a gaming example, but I've had to be the one to tell a customer that his stuff is gone and there's nothing that can be done. It was not a fun phone call.
yeah just wish someone from Cryptic or PW would respond and figure out ways so this does not happen to anyone else. It sucks that i worked that hard over 2 years to have everything taken away it does not sit well with me. I am sure anyone would feel the same way.
Thanks for response though.

I hope everything works out better going forward.
