I went to log into STO today and after about 3 minutes ingame I lost connection to server. I relogged in and again about 3 minutes later I dc'd. Kept at it for about 30 mins before I gave up and completely reinstalled the game from scratch. Tried logging in. Same thing happened. Between me playing last night and now I have changed nothing about my computer.
Does anyone have any ideas what the problem might be?
*Knock on wood* I had that same problem late last week. Was told everything was fine on their end. I've been seeing in-game updates so my guess is they know about the server issues. I thought this was fixed 6 months ago, and now has went crazy with S6.
Been getting dc'd to desktop for past week or so. Can play anywhere for 3 minutes to 20 minutes, bang to desktop. Been playing since beta. Uninstalled the game, cleaned the registry, downloaded game, reinstalled. Same problem. I play SWTOR, LOTRO, RIFT, and even Skyrim. No problem with them. Just played RIFT for a hour and a half. No problems. Fired up STO, played around 10 minutes, bang, straight to desktop. I've ran ram test, board test, video test. Checked BIOS and settings. No OC on CPU or video card. I let it send a crash dump back to Cryptic last night. According to the sticky that is suppose to be a max of 1gb, lol, yeah right. Try over 7gb sent. I run force verify, finds no problems. Half the time it tells me I have a pigg error (changes type of pigg file on diff crashes), but verify says no pigg error. Other half of the time it doesn't even give a error type, just falls on its face. I hope to god they fix this soon. Not much fun trying to play a game in 10 minute sections. Especially dc'd in middle of missions, STF's, dailies, etc.
And I'm old, not dead.
If your're so smart how come you don't own everything?

Something has got to be broken somewhere. I haven't seen a dev say anything, but there have been so many people with issues, and so many threads, it's hard to believe it's client side.
I love how there ignoring this, so many people complaining about it, being a paying customer i can say if they dont sort this out there going to loose business.

Same here.
I haven't changed anything with my computer or internet connection. Everything was fine before the last patch.
FIX IT!
