I wasnt talking about your mission, I was talking about you asking us if we knew what you were talking about in your previous post. My question is whether we are actually allowed to answer and discuss what you brought up, per the forum rules.
nevermind. forget I said anything about it. I don't want to break a forum rule.
Updated the Foundry so the Draguas is no longer invisible.
Now, personally, even though they didn't explicitly say that the Foundry was being turned on tomorrow, I can't help but think that might be the case. Since we've been without it for almost two weeks, I absolutely had to share this with everyone.

I believe the last patch notes had a foundry fix in there as well. I;m out of time so someone else is going to have to check on this.
That note was also listed on the Tribble Patch notes. I don't think it has any bearing on whether the Foundry is coming back on Holodeck or not. Not trying to be negative, just logical.

No, that was me on battery and in a hurry.
I'd look it up but right now it;s moot. We have an hour to downtime and just easier to wait and see.
If history repeats itself, they will turn it back on, then the news will spread on the forums and on the Starbase UGC chatroom, we'll all flood back into the Foundry (which may or may not break things). Then, once everyone already knows, they'll announce it's back up.
IF they do like they said they were going to do, they'll open the foundry to play missions only first (with reviewing turned off) so we can test our existing missions for republish bugs. Then sometime later they'll open it up for editing.
Of course that plan was two weeks ago. And we all know plans change.
Would you be taking down your signature once the Foundry goes up as a way to play the missions or would you be taking it down only once the Foundry comes back online as an editing tool?
GOOD NEWS: THE CREATED MISSIONS ARE PLAYABLE AGAIN!!!!
Just FYI - That's exactlty what thbe Devs stated they'd do, IE:
- First re-enable the ability to play missions (with rating and mission editing turned off so authors can check their stuff, and we don't see a repeat of the 1 star nightmare we had with Season 4 IF the republish caused issues that the author could do notthing about until he got home from work, etc.)
- Later, once issues have been reported, re-enable editing so authors can remove or re-
tool affected missions before they get 1 starred to oblivion.
- Re-enable the ability to rate missions.
So, no bad news per se - just the Devs doing what thbey said they'd do with the Foundry Post Season 6 launch.

The "Community Authored" tab is up (and it wasn't before). It's just that the missions, for whatever reason, can't be searched.
The community Authored tab has been up at all times (with no missions,) that's how it goes when the foundry's down, that's what happened last time it went down
So just to have a little fun and no disrespect meant, thanks for your work batmanforever365; but due to his recent "getting everyone's hopes up and then being a let down", which actor is really behind batmanforever365?
1. Adam West
2. Michael Keaton
3. Val Kilmer
4. George Clooney
5. Christian Bale

No problem! I was just so happy to see something Foundry-related that I had to post...then, about five seconds after posting, realized that I was wrong. Here's hoping they realize the error and fix it soon.
No need to worry about disrespecting me with the poll; I totally understand. It's just a fun little idea.

(personally, if I were to pick a Batman actor that would apply to this situation, it'd be George Clooney. I'll admit, as a fan of his from "ER", I was excited to see him play Batman. I thought he would've been great, but it ended up being probably one of the worst "Batman" movies I'd seen. Of course, no disrespect toward George, I blame the writers for that. lol )
Now I'm positively ticked off (insert any stronger verb here, didn't so for sake of forum rules). Two weeks and still nothing, not even a peep how long it'll take.
I mean, honestly. Keeping (sometimes paying) users waiting without any sort of update works only so long, and since there is no information AT ALL, people may think that work on the foundry hasn't even started yet. Simply because having maybe a quarter of the work done might give an inkling how long the other three quarters would take.

They have given several updates, they ran into some unforeseen bugs and are still working on things.
Last dev post in this thread was July 20, almost a week ago now. It contained very little other than "We're working on it."
So now with another maintenance window gone by with no news other than a fix for something we can't access anyway, I think we're justified in asking WHAT IS GOING ON?!?
Why does it have to be so secret? Why can't they just say: here is specifically what the trouble is, and this is specifically what we're doing about it. I'd feel better about it still being down if they were to give us some real info.

We're hoping it won't be that long; I'm thinking we should be getting some kind of update before the end of the week.
I don't really base that on anything...mainly just hope. hehe
I haven't seen it yet; I'm waiting until my girlfriend visits next month so we can see it together.
There's going to be a patch going live tomorrow morning (between 7 and 10 AM PDT; http://timeanddate.com/worldclock/fixedtime.html?iso=20120726T07&p1=137&ah=3 [this link should help you when it'll happen in your time zone]) and this is one of the fixes.

I take this as a good sign, personally. But I guess we'll find out come tomorrow.

At least they've brought the Foundry half online, now we're just waiting for the editing portion to become available again.
Yeah, I found out that out shortly after I posted it; sorry to get everyone's hopes up.
Yeah, and your "update" is complete BS because it isnt true.

Wrong again. That tab never went away.

Again, no problem!
