game crashes after alt-tabbing

referencing error ticket ID 13554434 (in case Cryptic actually decides to look into this horrible glitch)

STO does not respond well at all with my setup in regards to alt-tabbing

everytime i've alt-tabbed out of the program when logged into a character of mine, and i go to return to STO, it crashes with a fatal OUTOFMEMORY error

my setup is as follows:
AMD FX 6100 Zambezi six-core processor socketed into an ASUS M5A99X Evo motherboard
8 GB Corsair Vengeance DDR3 memory
Zotac NVidia GeForce GTX 550 Ti, running an HP w2007 primary display, and a Samsung Syncmaster 172n secondary display
Creative SoundBlaster Tactic3D Alpha headset
Windows 7 Home Premium build 7601
STO operating at maximum resolution on the primary display, 1680x1050


now if i were to operate without the secondary display, STO responds normally, but i use it as an information display, so i, as well as a couple other people probably, would like to see this problem fixed

Switching to "Windowed, Maximized" instead of full screen fixed my Alt-Tab crashing. (I don't even have to alt-tab out, I just mouse over to the second monitor).
