Not only is this change over completely ridiculous, picking a different account display name in the forum is stupid, and the editor box clearly hasn't been skinned to match the rest of the form, so it looks like a half-arsed implementation.

i would love to be able to play my lifetime account also (B-rad34) but due to stupidness PWE hint hint i can not even access. so to your idea of the merge and this new forum TRIBBLE: EPIC FAIL.
Here are a few reasons why you should /sign this petition to change the forums back to the way they were and never touch it again:
1) The aesthetics are terribad, Seriously the buttons look like something from the 90s. Doesn't look treky at all, the way it did before.
2) No custom avatars, F*** you PWE. I want Bones back!
3) They copied all the old posts but not the meta-data. Real stupid there, and it isn't even that hard to do.
4) I expected Linking my account to mean I could still be known as Demosthenes01101, not this ****ty TRIBBLE name I made up when I tried their ****ty game Forsaken World that one time a while ago.
5) Nothing is clear, everything is obtuse.
6) I don't care about zen. I don't want zen. I want coins with giant Cs on them, I will NEVER, you hear me PWE? NEVER buy zen, so get that **** off my screen.
7) If I so much as SMELL cross promotions while im in the actual game client, you can kiss my money permanently goodbye.
8) You didn't ask US the PLAYERS if we wanted this. I'm making an assumption here, and maybe I am wrong, but most of us probably hate your stupid changes. You just DECIDED like a day ago, that this was happening. Some OCD PWE exec just couldn't TAKE the thought that this website had it's own identity. I really wish I could trip that guy on a cement sidewalk.
9) Try to submit a ticket, but the function is 'disabled by administrator.' Yeah, I bet that's NEVER getting turned back on. Seriously worst people ever. Can we get a private server going? So we can leave PWE forever?
In sum: Change it back, because your way is terribad.

Doesn't mean they'll actually listen. If the last year and a half has taught us anything, it's that they don't give a **** as long as their internal figures show they're making a profit.

At the very least you could have given us some advance warning about this migration, especially since it also seems to be getting me kicked off the game servers right after logging on. If I can't even play the @#$% game, never mind the forum, I'll find better things to do with my time and money.
I work in IT... so I'm used to massive change happening from time to time... but the change has to be MANAGED... and this change has been poorly managed IMO. Where was the offline testing to work out the bugs prior to doing this live? Why have we effectively been downgraded? (OK I know the answer is that PWE needed us on their forum to integrate all their games together, but this is just stupid. There would have been a way to tie in the old forums with their systems without the HUGE issues we're encountering with this forum.)
Well this officially does the end for my forum browsing here. The 'skin' is awful(broken/ugly imgaes, bad colors), there are spelling/grammar mistakes everywhere, addition of post counter(yea for incoming 'noob with only x posts')...just so much wrong..
Did this even get tested in a closed environment? How can a 'triple A mmo company' launch a website(or redesign in this case) without even FINISHING it. Why are there default graphics...I feel like I'm on a fansite with someone who just dumped in a few star trek images...absolute amateur.
This is a complete embarrassment, although typical. Mess around with something that wasn't broken only to make it completely worse. Then waste their time to fix it instead of doing things the players actually want.
