He takes the mug taking a long drink as he sets down his padd.
Janeway: engage retreat engage retreat. We need to find a way to push them back faster. At this rate it’s going to take forever to deal with them.
He looks at the area map on his terminal. The defense satellites where working well once deployed. The issue was how long it was taking to get them deployed due to the constant undine attacks. It was wearing everyone down. They would engage the allied fleet then retreat almost as quickly.
Janeway: I’ll say this for them they are persistent.
He leans back in his chair taking another long drink of his coffee before taking his padd again and starts working.

Harper is in his ready room taking a small rest as they have a moment between attacks.
GAR: sir sorry to bother you but you have an encrypted message coming in for your eyes only.
Harper: strange. Put it through my terminal.
The AI nods as he disappears.
Harper: this is fleet admiral Harper.
Carter: good day admiral. I hope you aren’t to busy at the moment.
Harper: well if it isn’t ONIs section 3 head. What do I owe this pleasure.
Carter let’s out a small chuckle.
Carter: I’m contacting you to give you a warning. Me and my prowlers have been operating deep in enemy space here in the expanse. Two days ago one of my ships stumbled upon a large undine fleet. It’s only gotten bigger since then. Intel suggest they are going to make a live to wipe out your fleet then push through to every major planet of all the major powers and not stop till they wipe everyone out.
Harper: how long.
Carter: if I’m correct 4 days. I’ll do what I can to delay them but you better have a fleet ready. Because if they get out here....
Harper: we won’t be able to stop them again. Thank you I’ll get my ships ready.

Eve: Well we've got a strange report to investigate, temporal anomalies on what was a Demon class planet in the habitable zone of a red dwarf star. Apparently since the anomaly, the planet has become habitable once again. We're supposed to find out why. Our leader has a special interest in temporal anomalies, one of our biggest priorities is looking into those and dimensional anomalies. Of course we aren't always aware of every single anomaly that occurs, and some aren't important enough to look into. This supposedly started after some girl who's mom was killed by him managed to track him down and jump over to this universe from her own. Besides, he also has a certain distaste for a Krenim man who is trying to eliminate the federation via temporal sabotage.

Osman: it depends at this point still. From what I received it depends on how long the undine wait to strike. If they strike in the next day or so or wait the full five to seven days like ONI thinks they will.

Atlas: right now by my calculations if the undine where to attack in the next 1-2 days the UNSC and allied forces there would still be destroyed but the undine would not make it out of UNSC space though UNSC space would be devistated. If they wait 3-5 days I calculate that based on current available forces the undine would smash through the allied fleet and destroy up to 35% of life in this galaxy before being able to be stopped. If they wait the 5-7 days given current UNSC and allied ships available the undine would advance to destroy up to 75% of all life in this galaxy before being able to be finally stopped.
Osman: right now even with the federations ships that just arrived they are going to be overpowered. It’s just a matter of how much of the area is going to go down with them.
