OOC: Well, today's been interesting. Went to see my Gran for a couple of hours, turned into my entire afternoon! May not be on much tomorrow, as my Dad's gone into A&E while on holiday, so depending on how serious it is I may have to go down to see him. It may not be that serious though.

Ensign: sir they have already been engaged and are fighting the undine now.
Janeway: tell the science ships to get the hell out of here. Take us to the battle group and begin attacking.
Ensign: aye sir.
Janeway takes a seat as they approach the battle.
Stal: it looks like this battle has been going on for awhile I’m reading a number of destroyed undine ships.
Janeway: what’s the status of the UNSC battle group?
Stal: scams show one ship disabled the others are any where from minor to sever damage. They aren’t going to be able to hold position very long unless we get some more ships.
Janeway: prepare to engage and contact the most damaged ships and tell them to start falling back.

A moment later Janeway walks in flanked by two MACOs.
Harper: admiral glad to see you made it out ok.
Janeway: thank you I’m glad we made it in one piece to. I’m sorry about the battle group.
Harper: they knew the risks and where willing to take them.
Janeway: I’ve spoken some with starfleet since we got clear of the expanse. I’ve convinced them that this is a threat worth getting involved in and taking seriously.
Harper: I’ve done the same with the council.

Agent: ma’am from intercepted comm traffic the explosion that destroyed Arcadia has opened a way for the undine to return. They have attacked the federation science group and destroyed a UNSC battle group.
Osman: ok I want an update sent to the admiral and an update sent to the president.
Atlas: yes ma’am. Updates sent.

Janeway: good then we should at least reach the UNSC battle group by then. Where is koval?
Stal: unknown we lost sensors in that area.
Janeway: alright I want everyone ready to engage once they reach us. Coordinate with the UNSC commanders when we reach them to deal with the threat.
*Susan lunges at her throwing a hook with both hands to try and catch her off guard*
*She manages to hit with one of them, Christie blocking the first but now off-balance.*

Janeway: seal off those decks. What’s the status of the UNSC group.
Ensign: most their ships are gone.
Janeway: get me the commander.
A moment later.
UNSC comm: admiral I want you to pull out. It won’t do us any good if your ship gets destroyed here. Get back to federation space.
Janeway: we can help you here
UNSC comm: then at the very least go to sector 34. Admiral Harper was putting together a fleet there. This battle is lost.
The image flickers as an explosion rips through the UNSC ship.
UNSC comm: get out of here admiral. Before it’s to....
The signal ends
Ensign: they’ve taken massive damage and I’m reading a large power build up. They are overloading their reactor and have armed all torpedoes.
Janeway: helm take us to warp now.
As they jump to warp they see the UNSC command ship explode in a massive explosion destroying or damaging all the undine ships in the vicinity.
Christie continues to struggle.*
