As she walks in she sees who is standing in her office.
Osman: I figured it would be you.
Mathis: oh and why was that.
Osman: because you only show up again if something bad happened. And we both know that's only because of mom.
Mathis: you do have your mother's spirit and temper.
Osman: what do you want. I'm busy and am suppose to be meeting with command and civilian government very soon.
Mathis: and you wonder why I never come by.
Osman: please we both know why. You haven't shown up here since Mom died and you where avoiding us all then.
Mathis: I wasn't avoiding any of you.
Osman: really? That's not what it felt like.
Mathis: would you just listen to what I was going to....
Osman: no. Maybe you should have thought of the consequences of your actions toward me before you made them. Now if you will excuse me I'm busy.
Mathis sighs as he heads for the door.
Mathis: I'll be in town for a few days before my transport leaves.
He walks out the door as he does Osman turns around and sits down at her desk. Clearly upset. She pulls out a holo image of there family and looks at it for a few moments.
" Now the gate has been unlatched headstones pushed aside; corpses shift and offer room ,a fate you must abide."
Osman: I'll be back tomorrow unless we have an emergency alright.
Aide: yes ma'am.
She leaves the facility walking to her home. Once inside she goes to have her normal cup of tea and some fruit. She noticed something is off. Her windows should not be open but they are. She pulls out her pistol as she starts clearing rooms. She makes it to her office where a man is sitting in her chair. Her stomach goes cold as she sees this man is already dead.
Slade: if I wanted you dead you would be already.
She turns seeing him step out of the shadows.
Osman: what do you want and who was this?
Slade: a man sent to kill you I suppose. He was waiting here when I came in. He must have been nervous he had a stasis field to activate when you entered and had a heavy rifle as well.
Osman: who was he with? You obviously know already.
Slade: and take away your fun? No I'll let you take a look at it. But I would advise you to be careful. Not everyone likes your attempts to join this new group fury is starting. And some just don't like you no matter what.
Osman: tell them to join the club.
Slade: if I see them I ......
Osman: what's wrong?
Slade grabs her and jumps out the window seconds before an explosion rips through where they had just been standing. He lands with both of them on the ground as Orion walks out heading towards them.
Slade: I think we know who is trying to silence you right now.
Osman: no duh!
She opens fire as the shots are absorbed by orions armor.
Slade: go get somewhere secure.
He activates his combat staff as he takes a fighting stance. Osman heads in the opposite direction.
Orion: stand aside.
Slade: no.
Orion: I was hoping you wouldn't.
Orion charges at him as Slade easily dodges his attack while striking at him with his staff.
