*M.Dani's spying devices give her updates on her counterpart's children but she does notice that one of them is digging into something he shouldn't... but perhaps it is an opening..*
*Her assistant and detail assigned to her comes to her.*
Wedge: Mam.. I have something you should probably see.
*Dalos Alpha Prime, Dak'rin Military Base. The base is home to the 42nd Assault Ops Battallion, also known as the 'Wolfhounds'. In one of the barracks, Captain Kara Reeves is cleaning her white helmet with green highlights when a klaxon sounds. She looks back, groaning as she notices her company bearing the same exasperated look.*
Kara: Don't look at me. An alert's an alert! Move!
*The company snap into action, putting on their helmets and gabbing their recon gear as they hurry to the courtyard.
5 minutes later, Kara stands at the front of the company, arrayed into columns by platoon, as the Lieutenant Colonel in Command waits for orders. After a while, he's seen talking over his helmet comm.*
Lt. Col. *irritated*: Attention. This has been a readiness drill. All troops are dismissed.
*As the troopers begin to disperse, Kara looks at Triss next to her.*
Kara *annoyed*: That's the 3rd time this week...
Triss: Well we are pretty much on the brink of civil war and have the arcadians to worry about. ITs annoying but I can understand them really wanting us to be ready.
Kara: Still, this is excessive. Even the Colonel's getting sick of it!

Kara: Something's up alright; my blood pressure.
Triss: Maybe we should ask around and investigate.

Kara: Eh. It's probably just the Admirals messing with us. With the 212th on assignment, they need someone to f*** with.
The command ship shakes as it is hit from enemy fire.
Harper: the 5th attack wing wad to overlap with the battle group episolom they came in to far on the flank! Try to patch me through to the undine commander.
Officer: comm systems are down sir the borg seem to be trying to jam all comm traffic.
Harper: work around it. We can't coordinate with comm systems down.
Officer : yes sir.
Republic capital
Osman: burns have a look at this.
Burns and Asher walk over.
Burns: they engaged the borg?
Osman: yes. It would seem Harper is trying to drive them from the system
Decanus: *Seems to nod... as weapon fire from the Living drones vessels hits the vessels diabling the Weapons aimed at the planet..*
Your feeble attempts at resistance are futile.. Why throw your lives away, when they can be added to us and spared..
*The next set hits again sending interference in their guidance.. behind him is a pieced together human being scarred and aged but now alive.. They do not know him.. but his eyes and features display some Innotankan.*

Wedge: Mam.. I have something you should probably see.
M Dani: Let's have it.
Wedge: It seems you now have orders to divert the young Casval away from his current search. If possible perhaps, *he slides her the pad of his mandatory psychological check.. Starfleet regulations improved much over time to combat problems from within..* use his own nature against him.
*In the morning Mila wakes to find Quinton next to her.. His dark hair long and a little ragged.. *
Quinton: Finally awake hmm..
Mila: What's happening...?
Quinton: The ship is docked for repairs, it seems we may be heading home soon. However, the Arcadians did shift the lines only so much before being halted. They only took one system and a vital one to their operations. Your mother asked me to stick around and keep an eye on you, while she got something to drink..

Mila: It's so strange... He was the Chief Engineer... Why did he try to blow up his own ship?
*Meanwhile, Admiralty. Sam steps into the office of one of the new consultants for security, smirking a little.*
Sam: Not bad for someone who swore he'd never return to the service.
Matt: Now just a minute, Minister. Allow me to explain what happened. Your Admiral Kenworth enacted a little-known, seldom-used reserve activation clause. In simpler words Sam, they drafted me!
Sam: They didn't.
*She steps in and closes the door.*
Matt: Wait a-- This was your doing, wasn't it?
Sam: I'm working for a man I despise on the verge of a Civil War I can't prevent. I resigned after the Shadow War, but you stayed. I don't know a lot about fleet logistics or grand strategy, but you do. I need you, Matt. Damn it all to Hell - I need you.
Matt: As an advisor?
Sam: Unofficially. Officially, I need you to help weed out these terrorists operating in the military before they destroy one of our ships.
Osman is alone in her office as most the people at the facility have left and it's only the night crew. There is a chime on her door.
Osman: enter
A man walks in quickly as the door shuts behind him.
Rotek: I must say you have very good security.
Osman: glad yoh approve.
Rotek: I'm assuming there is a different reason for you calling me at this time of night.
Osman: I need someone I can trust.
Rotek: and you have to come to me? Thsee are dark times aren't they.
Osman: I'm sure you are aware of the current state of affairs. I need someone inside Lances department that I can trust and that can look into these reports. Burns can only do so much.
Rotek: and you think I can do this?
Osman: you have gotten into every government organization in the galaxy. Yes I'm sure you can handle this.
Rotek: well your opinion of me is flattering.
Osman: can you do this or not.
Rotek: they won't even know I was there my dear.
Osman: and remember don't kill anyone please.
Rotek: I'll try my best to behave.

List is watching the fleet engagement on the main feed as a prowler is sending the images.
List: they are protecting the planet for sure. Sacrificing some of their own ships to make sure they can't launch the warheads. Interesting.
Agent: sir?
List: continue to monitor the situation.
Triss: Fine. Let's get going.
