Tara: Your dad was or is an alternate reality version of James Allen. He was a really good friend of Mum's in this reality but in your timeline it apparently went a lot further than that. In the other you's timeline, they were married. Her version died in this reality trying to rescue her. She took it really hard.

Tara B: Well you must have set me off or something. *Ashley rings the doorbell to their quarters* Can you get that?
Tara A: You didn't hit me. You hit my half-sister with a stun baton.
However, since no one causes extreme pain to her except me, apology accepted.
*OOC: Essentially, when Tara A returned home, Sam helped her bury her father and left her tricorder to broadcast a distress signal (she didn't know how to use her powers then). No one came for her. As a result, she broke down and started messing with the timeline to try and bring her father back, using alternate realities as a test bed (creating them in some cases) to get the results figured out. This eventually led to Q sending Tara, Terry and virtually every character in both mine and Allen's roster to the reality she was messing with at the time.
Tara A confronted them, met Tara and, because of her grief, was determined that her mother and father were supposed to be together - in every reality. Since Tara had a different father, Tara A ended up directing her anger at her and attacked her. They'd hated each other since that until a few months ago.*

When Kaito broke her mind and she lost several of her memories she returned to her original state before the "Alley Incident". Tara B still sometimes has a darker side that can be brought out when the blue stuff pops up.
