Careful. What fell into your hands was a can of Nitro-9 made by Ace (Doctor #7's second companion). Don't jiggle it or ... kuhBOOM. Oh, dear. That'll definitely leave a mark, and the building around your corpse didn't survive too well. I'll just take the win from your unmoving hands and boogie on outta here.

And I am afraid that was a holo-win as I have yet to see how anyone has got the real one after I quantum locked it.

Sets up Daleks, Cybermen from "Nightmare in Silver", and Weeping Angels in the battlezone, and runs away from it with the win.

    And remember, "Don't blink."

OT: If it was quantum locked 4 seconds into the future, so that no matter when you were at a point in time the win would be 4 seconds ahead of you, wouldn't it be destroyed 4 seconds before you could get to it if it was at the end of the world/time/universe???

That depends, if it's quantum locked 4 seconds ahead of my at the end of the universe then the quantum lock would be destroyed 4 seconds before everything my time thus throwing the win back 4 seconds, just enough time to activate a pre-charged temporal drive back to a safe point in time. Thus I win :P

But would the quantum lock be destroyed when the object it was locking was destroyed, and if it were destroyed allowing the object to be reverted to a normal time frame would that not indicate the temporal lock didn't exists in the first place as the win would be in two places at once. Which would create a paradox!

See - temporal mechanics - gets you every time.

One can't have a temporal lock where time does not exist, you're right temporal mechanics get you every time, but so does physics :P
