I got the holo tribble, the rest I tossed in the replicator. I spent 900 C, then bought another 1000 and all I got was a bunch of worthless junk except for the tribble. I am in agreement with the previous comment about how a REFUND is necessary. My assumption was that we would get at least each item once and that it came in random order, not the same stuff over and over and over and over again.

If this is Perfect Worlds doing, then perhaps another game company needs to get on the ball with making a better Star Trek MMO. I've spent enough money here. No more.

The only people you all should be complaining to is yourselves. This is a lottery people, plain and simple. Demanding a refund for your own lack of self control is ludicrous. I can't believe no one here has the foresight to realize that this ship will be available on the c-store. Then I guess you all will be demanding to get it for free.

Ah and here is zypher again. I think our Little cryptic fan only have Fear that His loved game die and think its a good way to spend Money for TRIBBLE. Sry my friend but thats realy the wrong way. Some People already kick the Abo after spending too much money for nothing.
And that cryptic don't Care what the playerbase think make it Not better.

Oh zypher getting a friend. You'r right maximus. We spend too many out of the Lack of selfcontrol for TRIBBLE. But if we don't get the Ship i want something usefull in my "present" the weapons are TRIBBLE the pets fill my bank and iventory and the chrismasstuff is only TRIBBLE. I want a trader for TRIBBLE to get some Red boxes.

So let's use the logic presented here. So over my scratch off buying life I'm sure I've spent over $1000 in lottery scatch offs. Of course I want to win the big money, but alas I never have. Oh, I've won $2 here, or $5 there, but never the jackpot. So I should complain to the lottery commision that I want a refund or something better to show for my money spent, please, I'd get laughed right out of the Government building. I wouldn't complain, though, because I understand that it was my choice to gamble my money.

Spending $45 for chances at a ship that will probably be available for at most 1200 cp's (roughly $6,) well, is like buying 2000 lottery tickets at $1 a piece for a chance to win $1000, again ludicrous.

In a Lotterie all spend in a pod and u gain many more if u win ... here u get many TRIBBLE for many money its like u give someone 100 $ and he gives u 1 $. And the big Price will not be greater for spending more money. sooo its not lotterie.
Sure we all they spend over 10000 realy fail badly in our Selfcontrol but everyone see whats happen here.
K some Playeres (like u) want to defend this moneymakingsystem for ... a reason i dont understand. But its realy so hard to make Player Happy with a little Present for giving them over 100 € of TRIBBLE buying?
They only must make 1 item copie it for all players they dont have self control and boom we are happy and buy again. Profit! (aaaand no i dont speak about the ship)
I think the Playerbase now isnt the Playerbase they will support... i think they look in the future to the F2P players. The new ones they dont know how STO was before f2p. Its much easyer... hmm so Cryptic dont fail in Buisness and Profit ....

I will only blame myself for spending as much as I did (shy of 25,000 cpts worth) and not getting the ship.
However... I know this was something they were testing and that concerns me. While I went full boar into this "lottery" I didn't like it and I don't want to see more of it. Each box that I didn't get the ship made me angrier and angrier.

I was angry at myself for falling into the trap and it feeding on my insatiable need to collect things.
And I was angry because I can see this "lottery" working financially and see that the game could make a dramatic change towards that way. That doesn't sit well with me.

It's not a matter of money so much as it lessened the game for me. I was ready to buy a lifetime sub (on sale) but this whole experience put a bitter pill in my mouth about the potential future of the game and that's enough to have me question the desire to stick around.
Granted, they got my life sub money out of me via this lottery, but in the long run it will be a loss. Without the life sub, I'm less inclined to show up, see the new Cstore stuff, and potentially buy them.

But they had to know this would upset the player base on several levels. I suspect PW's influence was high on this one as they have this lottery system in other games they "run." It comes down to math for them though- will enough people leave to make this TRIBBLE stop? Or if they don't leave, with the revenue stream run thinner? These questions will only be answered as time goes by with F2P

I would have felt the same way if I had gotten the ship in the first box I opened. Having not gotten it all certainly isn't helping the case, but that's the luck of the lottery. I would have loved for them to put in some kind of 'odds increaser' per box purchased. It wouldn't have needed to get to 100%, but would have taken some of the sting out of those purchases.... maybe.

Lastly, a lot of game companies give back to the player base around this time of year. I don't see that here. 1 Daily mission to have a 1/whoknows chance to win a OP ship is not giving back. The other rewards are Meh at best and they know it. This was a money making experiment- not giving back to the players for sticking through a rough year (which should have been the intent, IMO.) And the clear evidence is that the entire player-base would be singing a much different tune if the ONLY way to get the Bug was via a set of daily missions and luck. I think we'd all either be indifferent or think it's a cool gimmick with a chance of a sweet reward; not looking at Cryptic and PW as shady used car dealers, or worse the B. Madoff's of the MMO world at this moment.

All the complaining.... granted I got mine on my second box, but I have found that the items I already fetch a rather nice price on the exchange for the right reasonable amount (charging 1 Million EC is real extortion)

I have to say, Cryptic. This is a new low for you.

C-store is one thing, I understand the need for extra revenue. I've even purchased a lot of stuff from the cstore. ships, costumes, etc. But this new RIG just makes me mad. Why? Because everything on there is attainable through other means, except the Jem'hadar ship.

Why is that so bad? Think about it. Many of us would be perfectly willing to pay 800-1600 CP's for a flyable Jem'hadar Attack Ship. Most of us have already purchased from the C-store.

so why put it in a random item game? Seriously... with all the other options you have available....

Please, I'm begging you. Stop listening to Perfect World's "advice" on how to run an MMO. You, and they, are ruining this game.

Well this type of thing was to be expected. The new winter zone is nice but is is just a cash grab. The sad thing is that after the event is over, Cryptic will probably put the attack ship on the C-Store for 800-1200 c points.
I know Cryptic needs money, but this holiday box thing is just cruel. And we still don't have any new and good story content :(
What really got me upset is the new crafting system! I'm not kidding, it now takes tens of thousands of dilithium to make ONE purple type XI item. I mean their peeing on us without the courtesy of calling it rain!

Sorry but they have saw the money that was thrown at the chance to get this ship. It will not be on the CSTORE for less than 2000cp But I betting that this ship when it DOES make it to the store it will be the highest ship to date.
