No Feds should be allowed in Klingon space except diplomatic mission, the same goes the other way, the rest of the galxy could be divided in zones, PVE zones and PVP zones, PVP you enter at your own risk :D

Letting each Faction into the other Factions home space should be allowed as it is now, BUT it must come with conseguences, if you enter then it must at your own peril that you can be attacked, letting each other fly around as it is now its majorly stupid and typical of how Cryptic get things so badly wrong sometimes.

And, as a Klingon, I should be able to use cloke in warp, mwahahahha. Should make up, some way. for the difference in player numbers.

We need a new kind of "Welcoming the Federation" Empire Defense mission.

To all the super Fed luvrs, a quote:
"The war is going very badly for the Federation, far worse than is generally known. Starfleet Command believes that defeat is inevitable. Within six months, we may have no choice but to surrender." - Captain Picard, Yesterday's Enterprise.

I like the way you think by converting sectors to pve and pvp that will make it so much easyer for starfleet to push you push you power hungry want to bes back to the small sector you come from. Not to mention that the neutral zone would be far game. every KDF Ship that leaves its sector would be hunted (no joke). And after we push you back to qo'nos we'll continue attacking until we're standing in the "Great Hall with the J'mpac laying dead at our feet.

Im tired of seeing these diplo immunity guys zipping around. Why not take something away from THEM for once instead of handing them acess to our space with an encouraging pat on the bum

so you don't want the ability for the klingons to be able to go to the sirius block when the maruader system goes live :)

Yeah but only through the first group of Federation story missions and two klingon missions then they have better things to do.

That's one of the odd things about this game.
The focus changes away from this issue that was so very much explained in the "Path to 2409".
    It's suddenly no longer relevant.
I was a fan of the alliance between the Feds and the Klingons in TNG and beyond.
And yet I want to meet the game and the scenario on its own terms.
But it won't really let me.
On one hand we have this war that's been going on since 2405 and on the other...nothing.
But there is also no actual cease-fire or piece.
And I recall that there was a thread months ago where someone had asked whether differerent
seasons meant that the year was also progressing or whether one of the "fronts" was
representing a point in time later in each year.
But no, it's all still in 2409 with both factions at war.

I feel we're a bit in a story-vacuum and it somehow seems to me I'm not alone with this.
So the idea that while at the same time Federation ships fight against Klingon DSE forces that
try to invade Sirius and fend off attacks against SB24 while at the same time KDF ships sail
around in the very same block trying to get DOFF assignments sounds rather like a parallel
    reality.
And the other way around it's not better.

Well with the new Doff system there are Diplomatic missions among others available in the Klingon Home Sector. One of them is something like escorting a Federation Diplomatic for talks.

I like to go with the idea that the war was left unfinished in storyline follow-up along missions and the Dev team got distracted.......
Not a big deal in a MMO as many things are always going on in the background that one player may be enjoying while another has moved past it, but I do think the War needs fleshing out to keep it from being a " oh yeah, that" sort of part of STO.

I am waiting for the day when we can beam boarding parties aboard our enemies ships and storm their bridges, in order capture them and then take the survivors to work in the dilithium mines on Rura Pente.

That was before humans had the ultimate doomsday weapon; a weapon whose effects are capable of inflicting immeasurable amounts of pain, suffering and agony. A weapon so inhumane, you wouldn't wish it to be used on even your most sadistic enemy.

And that weapon is: Justin Bieber's singing.

So you Klingons better stay in line or you'll get a few thousand singing bieber holograms beams all over Qo'nos and onto your ships.

That threat sent shivers down my spine, you are so cruel!

... The old warrior heard a sound, and pushed his chair back with a sneer. His hair greyed by age, his scars faded, the Klingon left orbit of Quo'nos and confronted the unwelcome visitors.

With a mean scowl and a curled lip, he cradled his ancient disruptor rifle and muttered a curse:

    "...Get off my lawn."

Fed ships orbiting qo'nos got old pretty much immediately. Especially since we are supposed to be at war.

My grief exactly. They designed and implemented an excellent background storyline and then ran away from it as fast as they could.... or so it seems in retrospect.

Some would say, ran away when told to by the 82% playerbase that "disaproved" of the whole conflict concept of STO, completly ignoring the UFP/KDF conflict in favor of cranking out fluff upon fluff and weeklies (which I do like) to appease a fractured playerbase that both hated and liked the war- ignoring PvP and the Foundry as well in favor of appeasing one side of the game.
    Some would say this.......

Others are just confused by the whole debacle.

you guys don't know how long ive been waiting to be able to blow up klingon players in "contested" areas like pi canis and eta eridani.like in TNG sometimes(when near the neutral zone border) there was a random bird of prey or group of them(romulan or klingon) and the enterprise would intercept them. i would like to see this implemented in game as well.the home sector defense would be a game changer and reason for me to start playing my carrier again.as my main is a fed but i have a max lvl sci klingon.

He could not, would not, on a boat.
He will not, will not, with a goat.
He will not PvP in the rain.
He will not PvP on a train.
Not in the dark! Not in a tree!
Not in a car! You let him be!
He does not like PvP in a box.
He does not like PvP with a fox.
He will not PvP in a house.
He does not like PvP with a mouse.
He does not like PvP here or there.
He does not like PvP ANYWHERE!

    Sorry couldn't resist :p

    lmao

I personally enjoy the challenge of the klingons, but what I WOULD like is for cryptic to make a new playable faction, like the Romulans or Cardassians to face in PVP.

I agree it's irritating to see the feds fly around, but hey, at least most of them don't have a clue how to pvp when they step into cnh/arenas to collect their emblems!

    Agreed.

Bring on faction flagging and faction raiding into contested territories and all that sort.

I don't want full on open pvp, but auto flagging when in another faction's territory is def something I want to see.

Def game potential for this with penalties for attacking diplo immune targets and all that stuff.

Open world PVP now, so I can bombard your pathetic excuse for a home world.

Or the other way around, picking sides between two you do not fully like is hard.

Give me my bloody Romulans and than it will be fun, watching the two of you blow each other into dust so we can com in and claim the price. Mmm yeah really open world PVP is for the best of the empire so make it so.
